Cotopaxi  Consuelo 22 L Daypack

I got this because I wanted a smaller bag for school (current one is ~30L). I was worried this bag would be floppy/lacking much structure, but it's awesome! The laptop/ipad compartment is super rigid. The bag can sometimes stand up by itself too when you set it down. The roll top is super easy to get into and the waterbottle compartments are really sturdy. And it looks great!

I got the Cotopaxi Consuelo Daypack 22L for work, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It easily fits all of my daily necessities, especially my laptop, which was my biggest concern. The bag is simple, lightweight, and easy to use, making it perfect for my hybrid work routine. It’s been so convenient to have a reliable bag for bringing my things back and forth from the office. I have loved this backpack! I have many, many Cotopaxi items and love to the chance to get something new when it comes out. I have seen this fold over backpack style in other brands so I was excited when my favorite brand came out with this. What I love is that it feels light. I can have my laptop, several books and items and it feels like I am carrying nothing. Also the purple color is super cute, would recommend if needing an everyday backpack! While I am taking this to work I can see it being great for other things like hiking or day trips. Love it so much!

i've become a big fan of Cotopaxi after getting a half zip jacket and crossbody bag a few years ago. while searching for a new dual purpose backpack for work and hiking/light travel. i love the color and as some with a short torso and long back, this bag fit so comfortably! i used it for an overnight trip and was able to pack: two sweatshirts, toiletry bag, laptop and charger, an extra paors of pants, and three shirts. the best part was that it didn't look nor feel bulky, and the chest strap helped balance the weight a bit.

This was the perfect day backpack/ weekender pack for me. It has 1 main zipper area in the front and one in the inside of the main compartment which is great for smaller items and can carry a decent amount of clothes/larger items in the main compartment. I love the sectioned off area for laptops because it makes sure it’s safe and protected. Overall this backpack is exactly what I needed for a weekend getaway and daily use for my laptop/ packing in lunch box/jacket and other items for work.

I was looking for something similar to Patagonia’s Black Hole bag. This does the trick! It’s comfortable, light weight, and offers a big opened on top plus small side zipper for laptop. It fits a petite torso so looks best on my 5’3” partner. We plan to use it as a diaper bag. I only wish that the opening was a little wider to match the width of the bag. If it were more funnel-shaped, it would be more functional, like an Ortlieb panier.

This backpack was a perfect fit for me, with the womans focused fit in harness and backpanel, feel very comfortable during traveling and work commutes. I also appreciated the front chest strap, which made heavier loads much more comfortable to carry. The bucket-style design was one of my favorite features - letting me pack more efficiently by stacking items vertically rather than spreading them outward like in a traditional backpack. The separate laptop compartment is also a huge plus, making it easy to access my computer without digging through everything else. Despite how much this backpack can hold, it remained surprisingly travel-friendly. Even packed to the brim, it fit comfortably under the seat in front of me on airplanes, making it an excellent personal item for travel. Overall, it's a thoughtfully designed pack that maximizes both comfort and space.

Once you roll the mouth of the bag, clip click but strap loosen up easily if you grab it. If each side of the mouth had a clip, rolling and clicking to form a handle would fit my need and secure the bag from opening and letting the elements getting inside.

Just the right size to pack for a day hike plus has style to take traveling. Looking forward to using it in Europe next month and filling it with treasures!

Listen I am 5’4” and this is the first backpack that actually fits me. A miracle. Buy it.
