Cotopaxi  Mente 22L Tote

I was devastated when this bag in this color sold out over Black Friday. I knew this bag was going to solve all my problems. Luckily I let everyone know and had people stalking the site for me and as soon as it was available I purchased it. The second I unwrapped it I knew it was the perfect every day tote. It runs true to size and there are pockets inside. I love that there are pockets for my water bottle. This is a great gym bag, or a small weekender or even a great every day tote for work

I’d been using the Contiguo tote for commuting and liked the size but not the lack of internal organization. The Mente solves most of those issues, the two inside sleeves can fit a 32oz Hydroflask, and it has a generous laptop sleeve. I appreciate the dual carry straps for hand or shoulder carry and the external sleeves for tall narrow items. The one note I have is that with items in the internal sleeves it tends to make the laptop sleeve gape open I think a strap or velcro strip would be a nice feature to hold the laptop sleeve closed and help keep your device in place and secure.

This bag is exactly what i wanted for a great carry on. It sits well on its flat bottom and has enough dividers to keep all my things organized. I’m so happy to have my first Cotopaxi!

I like to think I have good taste in bags and I make it a goal to find the perfect bag for my day to day. The tote is perfect for multiple uses. I use it for day to day to carry around my laptop and water bottle and even smaller bags. It’s so organized and easy to get to things inside. It’s comfortable to wear. I can use it daily but I’ve also used it for travel. It fits a large amount of luggage and still keeps a slim shape. It’s such a versatile bag. It’s one of the best bags I’ve ever owned and I will rave about it as much as I can. Completely worth the money.

I give this tote an A-. I am so floored by the quality of the Mente 22L Tote! I searched long and wide for a tote like this and tried a couple others from different brands. This is by far the best one I've come across. I needed an all-around tote that could carry all the things I take with me throughout my busy day. If I could change anything about this bag to make it A+: First: I would make the laptop sleeve just a little bit longer. It BARELY fits the 14" cotopaxi laptop case that I got for my Macbook Pro, and I can tell there's just enough room where they could've extended the length a little bit to make it more roomy. Second, I would add a smaller zipper pocket on the inside for smaller things like keys, trinkets, doodads, etc. It has two large zipper pockets (one inside and outside), but it needs a small pocket inside for the little things. Third, I would make the big handles just a smidge bigger. They just barely fit over my shoulder for shoulder carry (I'm a dude, 6ft, 185lbs)- it works but it's a snug fit. Other than those three things, I wouldn't change a thing. It's a solid bag, and it is going to change my zip-around-town organization game big time. Thanks Cotopaxi! And, if the executives are reading this and decide to make those changes, please send me a new updated tote bag free of charge. You're welcome for the awesome ideas :)

I bought this bag for myself on a recent trip due to the fact it has a strap to attach to your luggage handle. It also has amazing interior storage pouches and a zip pocket. When I brought it home my husband immediately wanted one for himself!

Both my kids have gotten into competitive sports & I need a bag that I can throw all my stuff in for their practices & games. I wanted a tote with specific things & this bag has them all: water resistant for rainy winter days, easy to clean, a top zipper to keep things dry & from falling out, compartments for my wallet/keys/phone, water bottle, book & notebook, and enough space for a sweatshirt or blanket. This tote is just big enough but not huge, light weight, and even though it’s sporty, it still looks sleek in black. My only suggestion is to make the inner lining a lighter color - dark colors turn into a black hole and it can be hard to see things on the bottom, but that’s why the compartments are so great!

Bag was very nice, spacious and sturdy with enough compartments to organize your things. This is a great work bag

I have been on the hunt for the most perfect work bag since I started my career many moons ago. This bag is it. I can stop hunting! I love everything: the size is perfect and it is not too heavy, the amount of pockets is amazing, the straps are the perfect size and even clip together when you are traveling on the go. The thing I love the most are the interior water bottle pockets - soooo good! They easily fit both my 40 ounce and 32 ounce owala. My 14" laptop plus 2 folders slide nicely into the laptop bag. I've never felt like I had my life together more than I do now with this amazing bag. Just buy it! I did buy the light colored one and I'm perpetually nervous I'll get it dirty but it seems to be pretty tough and stain resistant.

I really love the color Fjord! This travel tote has the luggage pass through which I always love as well as smaller carry handles which isn’t something I thought I needed but now I realize it’s a great feature. Cotopaxi is the high quality you love and always ships fast and accurate! I am quickly becoming a Cotopaxi lover and this will be added to my collection! I love that they also have sales from time to time so you are able to get more of their bags and gear! You can’t go wrong with this tote for daily use or travel! Get it so you don’t regret it!
