Well-made product
Excellent lightweight shell with ample phone pocket
very useful piece of kit
I’ve found this minimalist vest more useful than many insulated vests for my dog walks in all sorts of weather. T-shirts are my typical base layer, and the high collar of the vest gives me neck protection when I need it. The vest’s wind blocking effect allows me to use a lighter jacket in many situations, and on a sunny but windy day I can use it rather than a windbreaker. I own two of this new version as well as one of the earlier versions.
A Run / Bike / Nordic Ski Staple
Better than expected. In the short time I've owned this vest I've taking it running, cycling and nordic skiing. Does an excellent job at blocking the wind. I purchased the Inferno (red / orange) color and couldn't be happier. Nice to have a bright piece when running / riding roads. Packs up very small in the chest pocket - unlike so may jackets / vests, you can actually get this one in the pocket without needing a shoehorn. Good investment.
Stio Vest
Unlike my other vests where there is some degree of insulation, this one is merely an extremely thin shell with a tiny zipper and not in any way what one would expect from a company that provides wearing apparel to outdoors people. It was not what I expected. Not helpful to the Stio brand.
Nice vest for office or layering in a warm climate
I live in Texas and was looking for a packable and light vest for layering, without getting too toasty. This vest is exactly what I needed, although I wish it had side pockets. It packs down crazy small, so I'll definitely be taking it with me on upcoming trips. Highly recommend!
But thin
It’s a nice vest, but this is the problem with Instagram purchases… I thought I was buying something substantial and it’s very very thin. Like, windbreaker thin. I probably should have been more thorough, but I can’t say I’m satisfied with the purchase.
Great For Cycling
This Stio second light vest has been great for cycling. I use them all the time. Just enough to reduce the chill and easy to fold up and stick it in your jersey rear pockets. I usually wear XL but for this I have ordered size large which fits fine.
Perfect lightweight vest
The second light vest would be absolutely my favorite new garment were it not for the lack of side pockets. With that said, is a perfect item to stow away as it packs down to next to nothing. The fit for me is perfect.
Not quite 5 stars
The vest is very nice and good quality. Did not give either 5 stars because even though it is described as a light vest it is so light so doesn’t have enough to it to really hang properly and feel like it is quality
Need to return
I will be returning this item. It's actually too light. Which would be great if there were slash pockets on side to carry stuff. One pocket not adequate and too light equals less good for me
