Fantastic shell
Have been traveling all over with this new shell and appreciate the lightweight, versatility, and flexibility
In theory perfect, in reality VERY large
In theory perfect, in reality VERY large. I am 5'9" and about 145lbs. I love the weight, size, and really want it for mtn biking. I ordered a size small and it's still quite large. Will probably keep it but wow is it big. Sleeves are probably 3" or more longer than needed and length almost the same. I tried the womens medium that my wife just got and it's way to small. According to the size chart the women's large appears to be even larger at hips and other areas than the men's small. I would give it a 5 if the sizing was better. Pretty sure this would easily fit someone 6'2" and 180 lbs.
No-Nonsense Windbreaker
This windbreaker doesn’t try to impress-it just performs. Made from durable, weather-resistant fabric, it shields you from the wind and light rain without weighing you down. There are no flashy logos, no unnecessary features, and no gimmicks. Just a clean, functional design with a reliable zipper and a standard fit. It’s the kind of jacket you forget you’re wearing- because it never gives you a reason to think about it.
Nice Light Packable Shell
This item basically is a Patagonia Houdini that fits better. Packs into it's own pocket with a loop so it can be clipped to your climbing harness. I expect it will be great at blocking wind, and ok to shrug off sprinkles but wouldn't depend on it in an extended rain. It fits really well - a "regular" silhouette rather than slim fit like the Houdini or baggy. Good colors, too.
Men’s second Light Windshell
Jacket does the job. Fit is right on point. I like the thumb loops while I’m mountain biking. The draw sting at the waist is great for the those windy days to keep cold air out. Over all the wind-shell works great! I can wear a base layer under the jacket on colder days and I have room without it being to tight.
An AMAZING Jacket
First, the quality of any Stio product is fantastic and this one is no exception. This jacket is fantastic. its great for both wind and rain while being so thin it can be balled up in your pocket!!! it will hold heat when you want it to and works great with layers!!!
Ideal for travel
Haven’t used it yet, other than to try on, But it will be IDEAL for travel, considering it compacts down to a tiny size when zipped into itself, far, far superior in terms of space-saving compared to other light fleece-type jackets I currently own.
Great layer
I used this on a recent backpacking trip. It was light and easily packable in the backpack quick access area. Traps warmth in and repels rain when unexpected weather occurs.
Second light jacket
I love this jacket so much I bought another when they went on sale. It’s so lightweight and so packable yet I was amazed at its water and wind resistance
Recommended
Excellent quality and so packable. Great for the final summit push as well as travel in general.
