I do botanical surveys in backcountry areas and we do a fair amount of bushwhacking. I encounter a lot of poison oak in the field, erosive soils, woody debris, brambles, etc. I was hoping to use these for work, but as soon as I unpackged them, I knew they were not going to work for my purposes. The material is extremely thin, feels almost like one of those "compostable" produce bags. Now I know these are "ultra-light", but I struggle to imagine how these would survive brushing past even a single shrub or twig! I will be returning these, so I can't speak to how they would really perform out in the field... but for the price I will not be taking that risk.
