Cotopaxi  Tech Plus Bucket Hat

I ordered this for my wife and she was unimpressed. Her pony tail simply does not work with this hat. She has long, thick hair and it pulls down on the back of the hat since the pony tail cut out is rather high up on the hat. Someone with less hair volume might do well, but it will not work for her. You would need to tie your hair back farther up on the back of your head. Her pony tail has too much volume for that sort of tie-off to be comfortable. I'll be returning the hat this weekend. One other note is the sizing adjustment needs to be made prior to putting on the hat; it is difficult to adjust the sizing once the hat is on. Other than the primary feature being poorly designed and the sizing difficult to use, it appears to be well made (looking for that bright spot to close out on).

I was looking for a hat to keep my cochlear processors safely on, and free from head sweating. I have a Cotopaxi pack, which I also love! This hat is not only cute, it’s perfect for keeping the sun off my face and back of my neck. It is comfortable, and with it’s chin tie toggle it easily flips behind my neck to let the breeze cool me more. The band inside stops any head sweating from dripping down. Really comfy and fun hat for being outdoors! Ya gotta try this in your favorite Cotopaxi colors!

I want my hat to cover my face 360 degrees but it's not practical to hike or fish with a large brimmed beach hat If I want my hair off my neck, bucket hats require either having my hair down or in a low ponytail with my hair sitting on my neck. This hat solves that! Also, it's lightweight but not floppy. It's easy to adjust and clean. I love this innovation because it does solve a problem, not just making a more of the same. Well done Cotopaxi!

I love the shape and style of this bucket hat—it's genuinely adorable and sits nicely. My one note is on the color: I was expecting a brighter, more saturated yellow, and what arrived is a bit more subdued than the product photos led me to believe. Not a dealbreaker, since the overall look is still great, but worth knowing if you're after a bold pop of yellow. Would still recommend for the fit and design.

This is THE perfect bucket hat! What’s not to love? Great colors. Adjustable (seriously…an adjustable bucket!) A ponytail hole! Great material! Strap for windy days on the SUP! Like I said, perfect.

I absolutely love this hat! It has great ventilation, love the hole for my ponytail, and having a strap for under my neck makes this a 5/5 in my book. Add onto all of that, it looks super cute!

Super cute style and color, love the brim and convenient ponytail opening in the back! I’ve already worn it in my backyard pool, look forward to wearing it paddle boarding and hiking!

I swore I would never be a bucket hat person but this hat changed my mind. I also love that the hat colors match with the sun shirt colors so I can coordinate!

I wear this playing pickleball in the morning when the sun can be at different angles. Easier than moving my baseball hat to where the sun is.
