Good idea but poor execution
I ordered this for my wife and she was unimpressed. Her pony tail simply does not work with this hat. She has long, thick hair and it pulls down on the back of the hat since the pony tail cut out is rather high up on the hat. Someone with less hair volume might do well, but it will not work for her. You would need to tie your hair back farther up on the back of your head. Her pony tail has too much volume for that sort of tie-off to be comfortable. I'll be returning the hat this weekend. One other note is the sizing adjustment needs to be made prior to putting on the hat; it is difficult to adjust the sizing once the hat is on. Other than the primary feature being poorly designed and the sizing difficult to use, it appears to be well made (looking for that bright spot to close out on).
