Looking good with great features
I just bought these and am still wearing them around the house. They are different, the soles are more grippy. I’m excited to try them on a trail. It’s only March so it’s too early here. I’m happy, they seem like you could be comfortable with or without socks. The toe area is just right and they aren’t too wide. They’ll be great for vacation since they can cover hiking, shopping and the beach. Plus they look good, not big and chunky at all.
Cute and comfortable
I was looking for a casual Mary Jane shoe that I can comfortable do a lot of walking in. (I have dressier but they aren't designed for doing much walking in.) These fit the bill. I ordered in my usual size 10 and they fit well. They are a fun shoe to get away from just wearing sneakers! Have also had good traction in, another plus.
Not as comfortable as other Merrills
Shoe is accurate width and length, but the positioning and tension of the straps tightens as you walk, causing a compression effect and rubs against the foot. Not comfortable for long term wear like my Mocs.
Good Choice
My wife needed dog-walking shoes that were comfortable, a bit sylish, and fit well, and--being a longtime fan or Merrell shoes--I bought these for her and they were perfect. They're all she wears anywhere.
Perfect shoes for Japan
Took these on a recent trip for Japan and they were just what I needed. Very supportive and lightweight. Didn't breathe well but wore with socks so it was ok.
Perfect comfort
I love these.As an avid walker I’ve struggled to find comfort with shoes. These are perfect.
Too heavy, too rigid
Well made shoe but for me it is too heavy, too rigid.
