Size up
Way smaller than advertised. Am a 27 waist and ordered a xs/small based on the size chart and knowing the belt could stretch some but when I received it to try, I couldn’t even get it over my mid thighs and there way no way it was making it to my waist. Would have been squeezing my stomach if i could.
Very impressed
Absolutely love this addition to my Solomon collection. Sometime you just don’t feel like tossing on a vest. This is a solid option! Fit my phone, 500ml flask, fuel and my poles. Super comfortable, no issues with excessive bounce
Unexpected success
I expected this pack to be too tight and too wide from trying it on. I was wrong. It fit perfectly when running and due to its wish I could fit 2 soft flasks. My phone, keys, gels. Poles and more.
Perfect for my long runs
This is with me on my long runs and races. It carries my flasks, phone, keys and fuel. I’m happy with the purchase
Absolutely awesome product
No bounce. Lots of room for storage. Somedays you don’t wanna wear a vest, try is a great alternative
Zero bounce and perfect fit. New daily run belt.
Quality soft fabric, zero bounce fits everything I need and up to 500 ml flask. Sizing is perfect.
Sizing is off
The product itself is excellent. The materials, construction and overall quality are exactly what I expect from Salomon. It feels premium, durable and very well made. I have no complaints about the belt itself. My only issue is the sizing guide. My waist measures 86 cm, and according to Salomon’s official size chart I fall within the XL/2XL (84-104 cm) range. Since there is a significant overlap between M/L (74-91 cm) and XL/2XL (84-104 cm), I chose XL/2XL. Unfortunately, the belt was far too loose for running. Even with a phone and a full 500 ml soft flask, everything bounced significantly, making the belt unusable for its intended purpose. The problem is not the product itself, but the sizing guidance. The size chart provides no advice for runners who fall within the overlapping range. A simple note such as “If you are between sizes and intend to run, choose the smaller size” would likely prevent situations like mine. Because I trusted the official sizing chart, I took the belt straight out for a run. Only under real running conditions did it become obvious that the size was incorrect, leaving me with a belt that has been used only once and can no longer be returned. I hope Salomon considers improving the sizing guidance, as it would help customers choose the correct size the first time and avoid unnecessary disappointment.
