NNormal  Cadi Trail-Running Shoes - Women's

I got these a few weeks ago, so can’t speak to their longevity, but as far as comfort and great fit, these shoes are excellent. I tried the Tomer 2 model a few months back and the sizing and width was way off (extremely narrow toe box an about an inch too long at my usual 9.5 running shoe size). This shoe has a roomy toe box and the 9.5 fits , though slightly looser than say a Brooks of the same size. I tie the laces extra tight to keep the shoe snug on my foot, but if you are between sizes, go a half size smaller on this model.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my wife, and she’s a huge fan. After running in Altras for years, she finds the NNormal Cadi to be a major step up. The cushion is perfect for long miles, and the grip on technical terrain is fantastic, much more confident than her previous shoes. If you’re looking for a performance trail shoe that still respects a wider foot shape, these are it.

you won’t regret getting these! i recently did the camino de santiago portugués in these shoes with 0 feeling of them breaking down. i did another camino the summer before in speed goat 6s (both approximately 300km) and felt those shoes breaking down within a week. 12/10 for the nnormals!

Looks nice, fit is comfy straight out of the box, and true to size. However, took it for a spin on a trail, going downhill was perfectly fine, but toes felt constricted and started going numb on the uphill. Could it be because I have high-arch? Other than that and the higher price point than other brands, if all fails even after I break it in, it’ll be my casual shoes since I like the design.

Fantastic quality in my experience, but I have a few lingering complaints that I would guess are down to Nnormal not quite getting the women's last dialed in for this model (their first with a women's-lasted version iirc). Let's start with the pros. The build/material quality is fantastic. I've been running in them for a couple of months now, and brought them as my only running shoe on a long trip and they did great for road to trail kinds of things. The foam is also really nice. This is my first pair of trail shoes with a fancy foam, and it's hard for me to rotate through my other pairs without it. I love the color and how they look generally, which I know isn't the be-all end-all, but it's really nice when you're excited to put them on to go for a run! Now for the cons. The heel cup is a bit too big, maybe a holdover from the men's last. Between that and the stretchy laces, I can't really count on a good heel lockdown, even when I use the heel-lock lacing method. In direct contrast, I have a wider forefoot which is happy in Altras (the wide ones) and Inov8s, but for these I had to make the laces bypass a few eyelets to avoid annoying my 5th metatarsal. Not the end of the world, and kind of standard practice for me, but it made it clear that I couldn't size down to eliminate the heel looseness because my midfoot wouldn't tolerate it. Since I can't get good lockdown, I don't use these on anything crazy mountainous or technical. But I'm super happy with them on my daily runs in a hilly park with rocks and roots and mtb trails, and the fun midsole and solid construction (and color!) make the everyday miles that much more enjoyable. Got size W8, wear 7.5-8 in street shoes (depending on width) and 8-8.5 in running shoes (depending on width).
