The pants fit nicely through the legs and have good stretch feels very comfy. The pants have a short inseam I measured about 28 inches. I will be returning as their were advertise as a 31.5 inseam pants. I am 510 and they said about 3 inches above my ankles.
My new favorite everything pants! I have been living in this pants since I bought them. I use them for work, light outside work, and climbing. I have an athletic build with 28" waist and 38" hips - after reading other comments, I sized down to a S and it fits perfectly. The adjustable waist is so handy and the baggy fit through the legs is great. I am 5'8 and they hit right at my ankles. They are super durable and the green color is sick! The only downside I have found is that, after a ~3mi hike and some scrambling, the baggy fit led to some chafing on my inner thighs. I don't know that I would recommend these for long hikes.
I love most things about these joggers - the weight, the look, the fit. I use them mostly to climb at the gym. They are lighter weight so I didn't use them much during the winter if I was spending any extended time outside. For reference, I'm about 5'5 and 135lbs. I usually wear a Small, 4 or 6, depending on brand and style. Rating these as 3 stars because of the durability of the fabric. After only a few (less than a handful) of washings, the fabric is already starting to pill and look worn. I do wash on cold and hang dry all of my outdoor wear so it hasn' been exposed to hot water or the dryer. Sadly, I wish the fabric was more durable...I'm not sure I would buy again because I like my stuff to last and not age as fast.
My favorite warm weather climbing pants! They have good stretch with lots of room to move, and they breathe well. The side phone pocket is everything. The fabric does pill over time, however unlike other climbing pants I have never got any holes to date after wearing them outside a lot. I am 5'8 and usually wear a medium, but the small fits me well so size down if you are between sizes. They hit a couple of inches above the ankle. I have them in 3 colors and hope Mountain Hardware will make them in more fun colors!
I bought these a few weeks ago. Two pairs, I had tried them on at an outdoor retailer, so I knew I would like them. Turns out I love them! Not too thick, great for summer. I'm prone to heat exhaustion, but tend to dress modestly. These are great. I think the only thing I would change to them, is adding a back pocket. Other than that, they are perfect! Very flexible. I don't feel constricted whatsoever. I imagine that they would be good for bouldering or rock climbing. Especially with the zippered side pockets.
Just tried these on, they’re extremely light with a lot of stretch potential. For a high rise fit, the waist band is way larger than expected. I don’t have big enough buns to hold these up and there’s no drawstring to adjust (bummer), so in order to make it fit appropriately, I have to pull the waistband all the way down to my mid-hip. I think downsizing will do me a better. I’m going to give these another chance. I’m 5’4 and 120 lbs. The pant length is good. Everything else is just too wide.
pants seem like they would be amazing, unfortunately cannot try them out or return bc there is no drawstring to keep the waist up. Mountain hardwear needs to make more XXS sizes so they don't constantly sell out in every single color, or at the very least add a drawstring to their pants!!!! how can you expect everyone to have the same waist? crazy.
I decided to order online and was not disappointed. Although more casual than the regular pants or Dynama pants and ankle pants, these are great for camping, walking about, travel, sports, casual gatherings with friends. I especially like the zippered deep side packets that sit flush to the legs, no flaps. Although I would have liked pockets in the back or at least one zipped rear pocket to secure items. The material is soft and stretchy, runs a little large. It has a draw string to tighten it when needed. The colors are great and can be combined with multiple colored tops from Mountain Hardwear clothing or other to mix and match especially when you want to travel light. I find that these pants are soil and odor resistant. Wash and dry quickly, practically over night, depending on the humidity. If hung outside, especially here in AZ, they will dry much faster, more like 10-15 minutes. Quicker than a drying machine. They are also 50 SPF….so a win, win… I take 3 pairs with me on travels… one for wearing, one for drying and one for sparing. I would recommend for anyone camping, traveling, sports, light hiking. Enjoy!
I have several pairs of the joggers. I love almost everything about them. At 5’3” and 112 lbs., I need extra small for the pants to stay up, but the are at least 1.5” too short, so the legs constantly ride up my shins. These joggers would be perfect if you would offer them in a loner inseam!
These are very comfortable joggers, lightweight fabric is good for hiking in mild weather. I like the zip pockets, which are large enough to hold a cell phone securely, The fit is loose or relaxed, but fit properly at the waist. I like the smooth contoured waistband. I will buy these again.
