Outstanding fabric
The reviews I've read are spot on. Exceptionally comfortable shirt in hot weather, but I'll wear it year round. I have other shirts made of similar fabrics but this one is far superior. Typical outstanding Stio build quality. I'll echo other reviewers in wishing this shirt came in more colors. I'll buy several more if/when that happens.
Cruise Ready Gear
Packed this shirt for a just completed Panama Canal cruise. SPF protection was def a factor. Humidity and heat all the way to Cartagena, Columbia. The hotter it got, the more I enjoyed wearing the shirt. My fellow cruisers hadn’t heard of Stio before. I could have sold a suitcase full of these shirts!
All because of this one thing:
It's a great fabric with an intended use of summer. The one thing I really like is the tighter collar which I think is a good look and the raised aspect of that collar in the back for extra sun protection. I think this an industry first which I expect will be adopted for quality outdoor wear.
Incredibly Versatile
This shirt and its sister the Hylas Hoodie have been absolute game changers this summer. Cut the lawn, go for a bike ride, play golf or tennis or just hang out on boat, beach or pool… it is super lightweight, totally blocks the sun and washes perfectly!
Hylas Crew LS
Stio’s Hylas Crew LS is one of my go-to items for the hot & sunny summer months in Boise. 50+ UPF is great on the river, coaching on the field, or exploring the trails. I’m a big fan of the Hylas Crew LS.

Super comfortable sturdy breathable shirt looks great. I have wide shoulders so usually need a large size shirt rather than a medium even though I’m 5’9 165. This large size shirt fits perfectly.
Nice material
Great material as usual from Stio. For me the fit is a little bit boxier than I typically like. Good fit sizewise. Maybe a little long compared to what I am used to with size Medium.
Did the job in FLA sun
Great job of protection on recent Florida trip. Quick drying. Got one size larger because I prefer loose fit and it was a good idea
Best sun shirt
I love how these wear. In hot conditions to wearing it under a jacket they wear great
Comfort performance
This is my go to for avoiding sunburn, while staying cool. It also looks great too.
