Awesome on trails ! PLANTERS FASCIITIS move over.

The Hoka Mafate is my new Daily all purpose shoe. Not only does it Look great, it feels great too ,even with my Planters Fasciitis. I went 1/2 size up to include a wool sock for the days when it will serve me well out on the trails as my new hunting boot. A quick wash and change of cloths and its looks nice with a pair of Cargo pants or sharp pair of Blue Jeans out on a dinner date. Traction is great, soft and comfortable on the trails as well as around the yard doing yard work. If and when I want that all about me walking on a cloud feel. I put on my Hoka Clifton 10s. You can never have to many Hokas on your shoe rack.

Great boot

I've always opted for cheap-ish shoes and boots on the theory that I just wear them out anyway. I finally changed my mind and ended up selecting these as my first real quality boot on the day they were released by chance. These are game changes for my feet. My wife has worn Hoka for a while as an RN and swears by their longevity and durability, and of course comfort. I'm looking forward to wearing these out.

Superb

Form fitting and soft on the feet. I went .5 size bigger to allow room for my wool socks. Hiked one time in the Denver mountains. So far I love how they feel on my feet and the traction they give.
