Janji  Sunchaser 50 Hooded Long-Sleeve Shirt - Men's

Wore this today on a very windy 23 mile ridge run and it performed amazingly. My biggest gripe with most sun hoodies is that the hood doesn’t stay up if there’s even a whisper of wind. Not this one! 40 mph winds and I never even thought about it. Nice coverage on the neck too! I like the sleeve length too and it stays down in the back, no fuss no muss. The watch hike is in the wrong spot and too small for my pretty standard watch, so I wore it on top of the sleeve, not an issue because I wear a Coros arm strap heart rate monitor. Super happy with this one.

This is my second Sunchaser, and I got it because I needed more of them! I've got a few other-branded sun hoodies that range from too hot to ok, but nobody does it like Janji. The hood can be worn with or without a cap underneath it, and either way it stays put. It's easy-off when you go through shaded sections and easy-on when you come back into the sun. The watch holes are convenient, as are the thumb holes. The fabric is cooling, and it's loose enough to take advantage of any breeze that pops up. I'm leaning into the heat training this summer and the SPF is key.

Lightweight, and thin enough for a hot day also thick enough for a cool day.

I got this long sleeve shirt in preparation for the hotter weather. I anticipated using it fishing, on hikes, or just doing yard work. I wore this shirt a few times and really liked it. It kept me cool and kept my skin covered as I was doing work around the yard. It’s lightweight and breathable. However, with how lightweight and breathable the fabric is, the fabric is not very tough. I started to notice a small hole forming in the sleeve by my wrist within the second wear. I would recommend this shirt only if you’re looking for some UV protection while not doing anything too strenuous.

Comfy and does its job of keeping you protected and cool. I’m hoping it lasts a long time since the price was pretty steep.

Had a fall on the trail wearing this shirt. Rolled and slid in the dirt. I was sure I would find some tears in it, but there was no damage. It held up great! Can't say the same for the skin on my hands and elbow. More durable than I expected given how light the material feels.

I absolutely love Janji. I have now purchased 4 of their Sunchaser 50 shirts. I run in the Arizona desert and these shirts keep the sun off me, protect me from sunburn and the hood fits perfect over a runner’s hat. The shirt does a fantastic job keep me cool as well. I own 4 but when I can afford it I’ll be buying a few more.

Good upgrade from the REI Sahara Hoodie. Much more breathable. Wish the arms and torso were an inch longer.

This shirt is fun in the sun; lighter than capilene, it is cool in the heat while giving great sun protection.
