It's OKAY
The bag is well constructed, but quite stiff. The zipper operation is "balky" and the opening is also stiff as it does not fold over when loading. REI previously sold a duffel that I really liked, but apparently is not sold any longer--too bad! Lastly, the duffel itself is fairly heavy, even when empty.
