New Go-To Baselayer Bottoms
Super solid, no frills, reliable merino base layer from the ever-consistent smartwool. Wore these 5 days skiing/boarding in a row on a trip to steamboat without washing. No smell, dried quickly, stayed warm all week. Would highly recommend! Smartwool sent me a pair of these to try, and I love them!

For those looking for the in between
Great fit and comfortable! I’m usually not one for the intraknit, but this provides light weight warmth whiles still have the movement in my legs I need for colder hikes. Usually just go for the 3/4s or regular merino pants, but this is a great compromise for the in between

Breathable and warm!
These really shined on some cold night hikes, but I even found myself wearing them under my uniform during nights on patrol.
