Good but not a clean product
I give it four stars because I love the producut BUT it is NOT chemical free which is disappointing. All that money for wool and its not different than the other brands.
the perfect shorts
Finally wool shorts that are comfy and absurdly cute and functional. Smartwool absolutely nailed it. Perfect length that they don’t feel like booty shorts but not so long I feel like a grandma. These feel ~fast~ and lightweight. Even in the oppressive heat this summer they’ve been great and have held up for long trail runs. They are higher rise, giving just the right amount of waist snatching. You will not regret them. Sizing is true to size, they are a flowy cut short perfect for the girls with a smaller waist and bigger butt. These shorts are a miracle!!!!!!!
Almost Perfect
I have 6 pairs of these shorts now. I have 2 older ones which seemed to be slightly different sizing than the new ones which seemed looser/roomier but they all fit okay. These are comfortable and breathable. The only thing I would change is the band material. The inside of the elasticated band material is prone to snagging and gets kind of pilled or fuzzy over time but it doesn’t affect functionality of the garment and it’s on the inside so it doesn’t affect the look or wearability.
The pocket is too small
The zipper pocket is too small for an iPhone. I’m sorry, pockets in an activewear brand should be large enough to hold a phone. The material feels great.

These shorts are very lightweight and the fabric feels great. I love the blue/green floral print.
