Slimmer than the older version.

I’ve worn the Astroman line for years, and it’s still my favorite sun protection for kayaking, hiking, and long days outside. The fabric is incredibly lightweight, breathable, and comfortable even in hot weather. One thing to note is that the fit has changed. I had an older Astroman tank in a women’s small, and it had a boxier, roomier cut that I loved for being active. The new Air Sun Tank in a small still fits me, but it’s noticeably slimmer through the body, so it doesn’t have the same relaxed feel or freedom of movement. For reference, I’m 5’3” and 125–130 lbs. If you prefer a looser fit like the older version, you may want to size up. Even with the updated fit, it’s still hands-down my favorite sun shirt line.

Love this for hiking in the desert heat and sun!!

I bought this for an unusually hot spring hike in Arizona. I love that it covers my neck is super breathable and dries super fast. I was nervous about hiking with something around my neck because I run hot but the ventilation is spectacular. It was not an issue at all. I bought the other 2 colors for hot hikes. The cut is flattering. Oh and the fabric around the arms covers perfectly where my back pack lies so no more rubbing. Love love it!
