LOVE IT!

The winds in Colorado this spring have been dramatic! This jacket is the antidote! Fits great, easy to layer over my Mountain Hardwear Thermoball vests. The color is right up my alley; happy, bright, and often drawing positive comments for this old lady! Hood management is easy; I wore the hood up, and under my bike helmet with ease. I'll have it for years.

Bike Packers Dream

Saw this jacket in person and tried to forget about it, BUT I couldn’t so now I own it!! Love love love. Perfect jacket for bike packing, packs down itty bitty, and has more of a boxy fit so easy to layer! I have a Patagonia Houdini and this to me feels equal if not better quality.

Cute and functional!

[Employee of mountainhardwear] Love that this is both cute and functional! Can wear on a hike and then out which is ideal in California weather. It is nice because it is breathable enough without becoming a sweatbox. Its incredibly lightweight and packable!

Great piece, a little short

I bought this a week or two ago and have worn it out on summer hikes twice. It's a great layer for some wind and UV protection, while still being breathable enough to survive hot temps. In full transparency I bought this mostly because I loved the color and style, and less for use as a technical piece. Luckily it's great for both style and function! The only thing I've noticed is it's more cropped than it looked on the models. The main model for the turquoise colorway I got is listed as being a size Small, and 5' 10". I'm 5' 7" with long legs and a normal/short torso, and a Small/Medium depending on fit. I ended up sizing up to the M to ensure it would still be a bit oversized, and long enough to hit at my hip bones rather than my waist like a true crop. It is shorter than I expected and I don't understand how the size down S looks longer on the 5' 10" model than a M does on me, but I'm not mad about it. I'd prefer it to be just a little longer but it's still cute and works for my uses. Just keep in mind if you have a long torso!

Love!

Cropped fit. Light rain beads off. Not meant for warmth, but super cute!
