Completed a 17 day unsupported traverse of Auyuittuq National Park with 4 people; 3 all over 6'2". Plenty of room for 4, 3 having those wider sleeping pads. First day it took 4 of us to set it up and it withstood everything the wind could throw at it. Further into the park, while others tented near rocks or moraines for protection from the wind, we did not. Bomber tent! This tent stood out for rescue purposes as a glowing gold dome on the vast tundra while other brown tinged or gray tents blended right in. I worried about bears on this trip, river crossings but never did I ever have to worry about shelter; this tent gives you peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Camping in the high Rockies any time of the year can be interesting. As fall approaches you're guaranteed afternoon thunderstorms, often arriving without warning and with heavy wind in excess of 60mph and gum-ball sized raindrops. The temperature can go from 70 to 19 in about 45 minutes and with it comes the potential for sleet and snow. None of this was a match for this tent. Strong, well thought out frame held its ground well and the fly repelled the elements like no other tent on the market. The features on this tent are plentiful and practical. Inside pockets (think I counted 10) to stuff small gear, a variety of ventilation options, massive dual entry vestibule makes storing gear and keeping the cold out a breeze. This is a tight fit for four people but during the winter that tightness will equate to additional comfort. It fits 2 people and 4 huge dogs with no issue, and the height takes a load off my back big time. It's weight is a lot for one person to carry but split between 3-4 folks this would be a great backpacking tent. In addition to its numerous features and durable construction, this is a head turner for sure. Absolutely gorgeous and proudly displays TNF logos (the color makes it easy to spot in the snow, too). Tow cons, the first being that the poles will inevitably bend the first time you set the tent up. Go with it. It's subtle but will make setup easier the next time. Also, the instructions are essentially hieroglyphics and not very helpful. Match up your corners, red tab is for the vestibule and front entrance. I found the under poles are easier to get in with the over poles already installed. It's totally doable by one person with some practice. After 6 pitches in the driveway I was able to do this solo, in the dark while it was snowing.
