Soft, Lightweight, and Easy to Run In
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canopy Jacket fits small to size but has a comfortable, easy to move in feel. It layers well over a long sleeve without feeling bulky or restrictive. The fabric is extremely soft and lightweight, and it feels great while running. It doesn’t have that stiff or crinkly feel some jackets do. I really like the mesh pockets on the inside and the zippered outer pockets for keys or small items. The elastic at the wrists keeps the sleeves in place, which I appreciated. The hood offers good coverage from the elements, and the small visor is a nice touch. The vented back and breathable fabric help regulate temperature well on everyday runs. The Halogen Blue color looks great, and the subtle logo placement keeps it clean and low-key.
Nice light weight jacket for light rain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little jacket for chilly/ rainy weather. I wore this when it was about 42 degrees with wind and rain, and it did great with offering protection from the elements. There is a mesh pocket that fits keys/ phone inside of one of the pockets, which is a nice addition. The fit is slightly small, so if you like to layer, I would size up. It worked well with a thin tshirt underneath but I wouldn’t be able to fit anything more under it. The hood stays on well, but if you aren’t wearing it, it’s a little annoying. It flops around. I wish there were snaps or something to hold it down. The blue color is very pretty and it didn’t get saturated with sweat or rain. The only area that sweat was obvious were in the elbow areas (shown in the picture).
Perfect Jacket for Fall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The canopy jacket definitely delivers on style and comfort. The color is so unique and the fabric is lightweight. I received several compliments on it as I was running. It is not heavy enough for winter weather, but perfect for windy days with a slight chill. I love the vented back to allow for airflow. The only drawback was the elastic around the wrists can get a bit tight. The fabric and color has held up well through multiple washes. Would recommend to anyone who needs just a little bit more warmth while running.
Perfect soft run jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canopy Jacket fits true to size with a flattering, streamlined cut that works just as well for school drop-off, walks, or outings as it does on a run. The fabric feels light, smooth, and comfortable, which I love! It does offer protection from wind and light rain without feeling bulky or stiff. I love the packable design and clean, stylish look, and the color is beautiful! Its functional without sacrificing style. On daily runs, its reliable and is easy to grab when the weather is unpredictable.
Trendy and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5’6 130 and I wore a medium canopy jacket. I really liked the fit as it was not too tight or loose. I could run/walk with either a tight shirt or sports bra under it. The weather resistance shell was a big win for me. This was comfortable to workout in and I liked the color. Functional and trendy which is a huge win for me. Personally not a jacket I would wear in the winter on cold days but early spring or late fall walks/runs this is perfect.
The perfect spring running layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The canopy jacket is a perfect spring layer. Right out of the box, I really liked the feel of the jacket and it looked flattering when I put it on. I am typically a small and even though I am in my 3rd trimester, I was surprised to find that the jacket still fit due to elasticity in the material. It will be perfect when I get back to my typical size. The two zipping pockets are great to keep my keys secure on a run and big enough for a phone if I am wearing it more casually. The material also did a great job keeping me dry in a slight rain. I don't believe the jacket is completely water-proof, but it is certainly water resistant, which I wouldn't have expected with how soft and non-plasticy the material feels. The trade off with jackets that keep water out is that they are not the most breathable, but the canopy jacket seems to have found a nice balance between the two. The vent in the back helped to let some of my body heat escape so that I didn't feel like I was trapped with heat and sweat. Overall, this is a piece that I will come back to often.
Canopy Jacket Fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lightweight jacket is perfect for when the weather is in between chilly mornings and warm or humid afternoons. It truly is light weight, so it will not keep you super warm, but it covers your arms from any wind. This design makes it great for warm-ups prior to runs. It has sweat wicking properties, so you remain dry as your body starts to heat up. I recommend taking it off when you are ready for your workout unless you need the longer sleeves. Please note that I do not normally run with long sleeves on which is why I would take it off after my warm-up. The rest of the design includes a hood that has a nice fit and feel. The pockets are a good depth and hold what you need. I really like the light blue color of the jacket. It was a little see-through, but for what I was using the jacket for, that didn’t bother me. Otherwise, the fit and feel of the jacket is exactly what you would expect from the type of jacket it is. I am overall happy with the jacket, and don’t really have any recommendations on what to change other than making the material less see-through.
Canopy Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brooks Canopy jacket is lightweight and great for morning jogs and physical activity. It lets you move without feeling restricted nor weighed down. Despite some skepticism about how thin the material is, it kept me warm during my early morning routine outdoors but that could be because I was physically working out and breaking a sweat. I don't think it's something that would replace bulkier jackets when it's cold and just for casual wear but the elastic wrists area do help to further keep the cold out. I like that the pockets on either side are really deep. There's an extra, smaller pocket, on the inside of the right pocket so that you could separate your items. Sadly, the inner "lining" of the pockets are made of thin mesh material so I don't see it lasting for too long. The gaps of this mesh material is wide (not closely knitted) so I can see it ripping quite easily if keys were placed in it. The sizing does run a little smaller than what I'm used to. I usually am between a small and medium, but more on the small side, and the canopy jacket seemed to fit just right for being labeled a medium. If you like it looser, I suggest you size up. All in all, I can see myself using this jacket for my runs. It's lightweight, keeps me warm enough in the mornings, and looks really athletic.
greta jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great running jacket! The weight on it is fantastic, I've worn it several times since purchasing in both rain and wind, it really stood up! I think what I like most about it is the wind blocking, it's been a great added layer as temperatures plunge!
Great light jacket for midwest fall running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is great for fall running in the midwest. It has a nice windbreaker quality to it and keeps me warm without overheating. The color is nice and fabric feels like it's going to last me for years. My favorite parts are the zipper side pockets, they are huge. The side pockets easily fit my phone, gloves, and small amounts of nutrition. It fits true to size. I have no complaints about this jacket.
