Almost perfect hiking shoe!

I’ve had these for a few months now, and they’re great! I tried nine other shoes, mostly all GTX Vibram Megagrip, and these are the most comfortable. The outsole is not the best it could be, but Megagrip never disappoints. Toe box is plenty roomy, but the midsole doesn’t quite provide total lockdown (for my shaped foot, anyway). Overall, extremely happy. The specs are wrong on REI’s site…they’re 4mm drop, 32mm heel, 28mm forefoot.

Not Comfortable At All
No, I do not recommend this product
Bought these shoes online after reading the reviews. Unfortunately REI hardly has any inventory to try on when you go to the store so I couldn’t try these on ahead of time. Not sure who these actually fit but I wear size 12 and there’s no arch support in these shoes. These shoes are terribly uncomfortable since half my foot isn’t even supported by the shoe. Terrible design.

Bought a week ago,just done 25k walking didn't disappoint. I have got a very sensitive feet,shoes always blistering my feet but not these .It was not too stiff, considering that it is waterproof (these shoes are usually very snug),light and comfy through the whole length of walk.

Comfortable. Stable. Excellent Grip. Agile. Perfect mix of durability and lightness. Good mix of waterproofing and durability. A pleasure to run in, or wear for any other reason.

Comfortable & waterproof
Roomy toe-box and very comfortable for full days of walking on trails & in the city. Kept my feet dry in the rain. I'm very happy with the Peregrine 16 GTX!
