The Best

I've been using Saucony for years, but for the last year I've been using their stability shoes. The new Guide 19s are great shoes; their excellent comfort helps on long runs. You can feel the rebound effect without sacrificing stability. I wore my old Guide 17s for up to 800 km and they still have great grip on the sole.

Continued improvement of an already great platform

I have been buying the Guide for many years. I feel like they keep improving it in subtle ways but the main design keeps performing. Have 30-ish miles on these anlready and they’ve been fantastic from the first step.

Back on the road and pain-free at 69

I’ve been using the Guide 19 for about 30 days, running 4 days a week. The Guide 19 is the most comfortable and stable running shoe I’ve ever used. Period. My knees were starting to ache with prior shoes, and at age 69, I thought my running days might be behind me. Within 3 runs with the Guide 19, all the pain in my knees was gone and is still going strong. The cushioning is spot on without feeling "mushy," while the platform provides a solid base under me. It’s the perfect balance of protection, support, and comfort.

Guide 19

Currently, after a few weeks of use, the Guide 19 feels comfortable and stable. The shoe is lightweight and I would recommend it for anyone with lymphoedema or foot-related issues. The primary reason for this recommendation is the comfort and cushioning of the shoe. I am a leisure runner, so my aim is not always to achieve personal bests with every run. However, this does not mean the shoe does not provide assistance; in fact, comfort can contribute to improved performance.

Higher prices, fewer customers

I've numerous pairs of Saucony shoes and have always recommended them to my friends and family. But, not anymore. While im sure the comfort and durability are still there, the price has blown up ridiculously. I guess this is how the the term "supply and demand" keeps the ball rolling, the markups are ridiculus and lots of former loyal customers have to look elsewhere for something affordable. Another example of greedy s a executives at Saucony....sad.

These shoes feel great!

I bought these shoes per my podiatrist's recommendation and they are working well for me. My feet feel much better than wearing less supportive shoes.

Great Cushion; Light as Air

I’ve had my shoes for almost a month and they are incredible. I looked up reviews that rated the cushion on this shoes very highly and these are easily the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in my life. Additionally, after going from running in regular shoes to true running shoes I was shocked at how light these shoes are made. I can never go back to running in anything but these shoes.

Not for running

I am a size 11 and have a slightly wider foot and I could not get a snug fit with these shoes the toe box is huge way too much room sliding in the shoe couldn’t get any heel lock. The sole lacks response more of a gummy feel. I wouldn’t consider these a serious running shoe. Good for walks and hikes maybe

Very comfortable

I like it. It is a great shoe for easier runs. This is not a tempo shoe. It is a great dad shoe. I bought 3 for rotation in my daily, work, and running life. I think the best thing about the shoe is step in comfort. It all meshes together well. I think two areas of improvement would be the tongue and foam. The tongue is too short and doesn’t have much to it. I’d go half way between where it is and the Xodus Ultra 4 tongue. The foam feels good for about an 8k. After that, it starts having response problems and goes flat. In the Guide 20, I’d really like to see the Xodus Ultra 4 foam in the current stack of the Guide with the heel base width of the Azura but the upper width of the wide Guide 19, and a stiff counter. A mix like this would be a killer shoe. It definitely heads in the direction of the Hurricane, but it would eliminate the clunkiness of that shoe. It wouldn’t be an Azura replacement, but would complement it well and give those of us needing stability an option for a fun shoe.

Near perfect shoe

Purchased one month ago & these have been a great shoe. Previously wore Ride 18 and they were super soft with no break in time required. Guide 19 is a more firm but plenty of cushion & comfort also requiring very little break in time. I’m very pleased. Guide 19 may be my all-time favorite.
