I've been using Saucony for years, but for the last year I've been using their stability shoes. The new Guide 19s are great shoes; their excellent comfort helps on long runs. You can feel the rebound effect without sacrificing stability. I wore my old Guide 17s for up to 800 km and they still have great grip on the sole.
I’ve had my shoes for almost a month and they are incredible. I looked up reviews that rated the cushion on this shoes very highly and these are easily the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in my life. Additionally, after going from running in regular shoes to true running shoes I was shocked at how light these shoes are made. I can never go back to running in anything but these shoes.
I’ve been using the Guide 19 for about 30 days, running 4 days a week. The Guide 19 is the most comfortable and stable running shoe I’ve ever used. Period. My knees were starting to ache with prior shoes, and at age 69, I thought my running days might be behind me. Within 3 runs with the Guide 19, all the pain in my knees was gone and is still going strong. The cushioning is spot on without feeling "mushy," while the platform provides a solid base under me. It’s the perfect balance of protection, support, and comfort.
I've numerous pairs of Saucony shoes and have always recommended them to my friends and family. But, not anymore. While im sure the comfort and durability are still there, the price has blown up ridiculously. I guess this is how the the term "supply and demand" keeps the ball rolling, the markups are ridiculus and lots of former loyal customers have to look elsewhere for something affordable. Another example of greedy s a executives at Saucony....sad.
My son loves runnung, and Saucony Guide is the only shoe he wears for training. we've been buying them since the Guide 14, and we'll continue to buy them in the future.
My Guides (2 pair) are so comfortable and well made. They fit perfectly and are good for sports, running or just walking. Like my previous pairs I expect them to last me 500+ miles.
I bought these for long runs. They fit well and are comfortable. I over probate, so I wanted a stability shoe. I like them for what I bought them for. They are not a fast shoe you are not likely to PR in them. My longest run in them to date is 22 miles. No issues .
I wanted to order the guide 18 which I ordered previously and was very satisfied with fit, the guide 19 is nothing like the previous model, I have ordered a pair of Hurricane 25’s hopefully they fit better
