I’m 5’3” 155lbs 34/D curvy/athletic build and bought a M. I want to love this top sooo badly, and for the most part I do, the almond color is beautiful, not see through at all, that material is double lined without a shelf bra (my absolute favorite when it comes to workout tops) the construction is done well and it’s so soft! Buuut against the recommendation that this isn’t made for D cups I bought it anyways (so take everything I say with a grain of salt if you’re an A-C cup). Like some of the other reviews say there’s a weird bubble thing that happens if my arms go forward, but it’s a halter top and that’s not uncommon and it’s not so bad that it shows more than it should or anything, also it pulls quite a bit on my neck, not like so severely that it’s unwearable, but it’s noticeable enough, and it’s especially noticeable when I’m doing yoga or any exercise really where I want to keep my chest broad/shoulders back, and therefore I feel like I’m adjusting the neck strap/pulling it back and down more than I would like. I did buy these for exercise so that’s a bit disappointing. I’m not convinced that a L would have been better either as it fits well everywhere else, and I think a L would have been too big, not really supportive and made the “bubble” thing worse, I donno. I got it and the other Carob color that I bought it in on sale so I will keep them against my better judgement, because like I said they’re soft and thick and Im so sad that prana has gotten rid of their reversible mid length crop tops for working out that I was absolutely obsessed with so this felt like my next best option.
I have two of these and considering getting a third. I love the no bra feel. I wear it under work clothes some days and to hot yoga others. To address other comments, It doesn't provide the greatest support and doesn't claim to. One of mine does sometimes have the front dimple or bulge but it's not constant and doesn't bother me. If I have slouchy posture it's more likely to pull on my neck and if that's the case, I try to adjust it and correct my posture. I think I'll get a third color too.
The material is the softest material I've EVER TOUCHED, but fit is a bit weird. It REALLY pulls on my neck while also being really gappy in the front chest area up top from the straps being pulled toward eachother, and it goes super high up into my armpits. If they had just a strappy one I would love it, but they only have this and the racer back.
I love this too but I would try on first. I ordered a medium as i wanted to wear with a bra underneath for everyday. I went up in size but I should have stuck to my original sizing. I would even have perhaps downsized so I’d strongly recommend ordering a few sizes or trying on first
I bought 2 of these in almond and carob. I really wanted to love these. They are definitely soft and I do love the style, but they bow out at the top in the cleavage area. I would have liked to try the Small, but those colors are no longer available. Very disappointed.
I love the color and the design, but as someone else mentioned, the fit is weird. Maybe I got the wrong size (I’m typically a large in tops) but there’s a gap over my chest but it’s snug everywhere else.
Love these halter tops! I bought 3. Great for under my cutoff overalls, with shorts, pants and skirts. Way more comfortable than a bra and often wear em mountain biking
I dont love it. If you're used to wearing shirts with no bras, fine maybe but it doesnt hug anywhere, it's an awkward length, I am a C cup. Not a great fit for me.
I am 5'10 (long torso) and 36DDD and a Large fit perfectly! Very soft and comfy. Good for low impact walking & yoga, not enough support for high impact.
I love this top so much, I have bought two and wear it almost every day. I wear it under work clothes, o yoga practice and even as a fun summer top.
