My favourite Arc’teryx shoes
I absolutely love the Kragg. I already have two pairs from the previous version, in white and green, so I immediately noticed the difference in the new material. It feels more resistant and durable, which I really like, but it’s still just as comfortable. Honestly, the Kragg is one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I also love how easy they are to style. I wear mine with dresses, shorts, pants, casual outfits and even when I want to look a little more put together. They just work with everything.
Extremely bad quality
Extremely bad quality. I bought a pair in Japan less than 2 weeks ago. I wore the shoes for 4 times and the bottoms (yes both left and right shoe) are already showing signs of peeling off!!!! The quality is so bad that it is hard to believe. Shoes are comforable to walk in.
A Weird Experiment
Not sure what the intentions are for this shoe. I'm a solid size 8, but my toe is at the end. If I were to purchase a size 9, then they would be too loose on the side as there is no support on the sides or back. If you have toes that aren't flat, you may find yourself wearing band-aids as the shoe does not rise from the toes but sits on them and may rub. They are okay for walking around the house, as slip-ons for other purposes, maybe some summer and fall walking, but they are a tad bit confusing. Perhaps I need to wear them longer. Purchased another not newly designed same shoe for someone else, and she, too, required band-aids on some of her toes.
Insanely comfortable and versatile
Wow! These shoes are beyond solid. As a chronic slip-on, no-tie shoe fan these are my favourite go to for anything non-alpine. I wear these way too much all over the city, to the gym, on bouldering approaches, you name it. After 9 months of near constant wear, the rubber and tread is still impressively perfect. The only wear I see is in the upper fabric where I have toehooked in them when warming up at the bouldering gym.
Really comfortable on the feet
These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have currently. I bought them in black specifically to wear at work. My feet took a few days to adjust as they have always been in uncomforable shoes. I stand at my desk for an hour or two everyday as well, so this works out great. These are now my "in office" comfortable shoes. I would totally be wearing this at kragg or campsite too - I'll buy them in fun colors though for the other occasions. Just remember, they are snug so thick socks might not work best - I use the thinnest cotton socks I have.
Disappointed
I own a large collection of Arc’teryx shoes, but my last purchase was a big mistake. the white color gets dusty very quickly and they no longer stay white. I’m really disappointed because cleaning them doesn’t help. It’s a shame, as they’re incredibly comfortable and provide great support, but please, don’t buy white ones don’t make the same mistake I did.
My go-to for work, recreation, and recovery!
As a plantar fasciitis athlete, I am very particular about shoe feel both during activity and active recovery. The Kragg shoe is my go-to shoe for climbing approaches and walks around town. They're my favorite recovery shoe with ease of slide on at the crag, but immense comfort during my regular 9-5. Couldn't recommend them enough!
Could Use Some Tweaking but Beautiful Shoe
Like the look a lot. The insoles are soft and forgiving so bottom of feet are happy. Outer soles are nice however they make a swishing sound on hard floors. These are not really for people with neuropathy in the foot due to a tighter fit all around. I was hoping to keep them at least for wearing whilst beach combing but just too tight. Toes box has lots of room however. Would like to wear them with heel down to see if that helps but the back is really too stiff to comfortably do that. I do really like this shoe but have to return. I encourage Arcteryx to keep making shoes with this type of forgiving footbed. You are on to something here. I will keep trying. I highly recommend if you don't have foot issues.
Comfort for recovery
Having had a total knee replacement 20 months ago and still experiencing nerve damage I find my Kragg shoes without using my orthotics to be very comfortable for walking around the house. I have Norvan LD4 I wear outside.
Great looking but doesnt last
Great looking shoes and comfortable, but the outer fabric where it bends ripped with less than 5 months of light use. Disappointed in the quality.
