Feel great for plantar fasciitis but don’t hold up
This is the only shoe I have found so far that I can walk in with a bad case of plantar fasciitis. I have really liked the shoe fit and feel, but the quality is lacking. I have only had these for 3 months and the back of the heel has worn out (a literal hole) that caused a blister and now I can no longer wear the shoes after only 3 months of walking in them. I did purchase another pair to use while I frantically try to find another shoe that I can walk in without aggravating my plantar fasciitis. It’s a shame they are not better quality.
Finally a shoe that doesn’t worsen my PF
With Topo Ultrafly 6 I can be active again!! I have Plantar Fasciitis in one foot & heel fat pad syndrome. I have tried MANY different shoes/sneakers in search of regaining love for walking/hiking/biking. Topo Phantom 4 came close but a bit too cushy. The Topo Ultrafly 6 seems to do the trick. Especially after I omitted using the last 2 holes when lacing the shoes. I normally take a size 8w and the size 8 Ultrafly 6 fits great. It took about a week to break in the arch area but so far so good. If things continue to feel great in a few months I’ll purchase the other 2 colors.
Love these shoes
I can’t stand having my toes squished together. The Ultrafly 6 has a terrific toe box. I also broke my ankle about 10 years back and deal with a lot of heel discomfort. The 6s have better cushioning than the 5s. I felt like my 5s didn’t stand up great over time. I also own the Pursuit 2s, and when I had issues with them, the company worked with me to replace them. Overall, it’s a great product line. Much more secure feel compared to the Altras that I’ve owned.
Love the shoes but…
Love the shoes but in less than two months and they are starting to peel/unglue from the toe :( Very unfortunate as I have only worn the shoes about 5 times.
Slippery soles
Slippery soles, no grip on road base especially when wet.
