Solid trail shoe

Bought these to hike the John Muir Trail. I wanted a wide toe box and was intrigued by the zero-drop idea. These worked exceptionally well - great traction and ankle stability, quick drying after rains and stream crossings, and a good heel lockdown for descents. The only issue was that the rubber toe piece began delaminating on the top of both shoes - not functional and can be fixed.

One Major Flaw
No, I do not recommend this product
The original Pursuit was one my all-time favorite shoes -- fit my foot like a glove. The Pursuit 3 has many of the same features, but the heel cuff is rounder and wider, making my heel slide up and down, and side to side. I tried downsizing, which helps some but does not solve the problem. The sliding heel gives me less confidence on the trail and could contribute to a twisted ankle.

Great hiking shoe
I use these for hiking. The lugs are deeper than most any other lightweight shoe and give great grip on loose surfaces. The wide toebox and zero drop really eliminated the right foot arch pain i've had with basically with all other trail shoes i have owned over the last decade.

Love this color and the velcro gator attachment haven’t had them in the woods yet but gonna put 20 miles on them tomorrow if they are as good as the 2’s I’m gonna love them if they are better I’m gonna really love them
