New Version More Plastic
Oh no, they changed! Like a lot. But still the same name? They have traded the softer flex material on the outside for a more waffle-like, plastic feel. I think, probably, to avoid the pilling that occurred in the previous generation. The fit is also much more snug. About 20% tighter than the exact other pairs I have. I LOVED the previous gen and had multiple pairs. So freaking sad. I also always remove the inner liner, which I did to these, so I cannot return them, which is a huge loss at the price point :(
Great shorts
These are the best athletic shorts. As a 6'3" bigger guy, I like the 7" inseam. There's plenty of pockets to stow your things, including a phone pocket on the thigh of the liner. The Liner makes things very comfy and the waist doesn't feel like it's going to fold over. I would say the size chart for the product is accurate, which is worth taking a look at. Usually I might be a XL in other brands, but the size chart recommended a XXL and that works for me. (Size 40 pant).

Best pair of running shorts I own. Always looking for compression liners and these are great. I’ve had my original pair for at least 5 years and the only issue was rethreading the drawstring. Own multiple pairs. Sized down (XL to L) and fit great.
