The TT feels much more stable and grippy for dirt/rock use on trails. So far I've used them for both trail runs and hikes, the light strike foam really shines through on uphills and flats. It's taking longer than I'd expect to find the right toebox lacing tightness to prevent small issues but that goes with the narrower toebox. I normally wear size 11 and went with 11 in these, and fit feels good overall. (minus a little pinky toe squishing but not intolerable). Downhills feel a bit tough on the forefoot due to the upper feeling very rigid. I'm hoping with more break-in that the TT will really shine for mixed run/hike in the elements.
The design of the rear of the shoe brings the material up too high on the back of my ankle and there is constant friction, creating a chronic blister that won’t heal despite a change in socks, bandages, etc. I’ve discounted wearing the shoes until it completely heals and then I’ll try again
40 mile on the shoes in two weeks. Shoes seem to be holding up and made of good material. They are comfortable and nice on the foot. They have good traction and stability. I wish there was more cushion under foot to make the exceptionally comfortable. I find them to be in between the hoka speedboat 6 and Mafate speed 4. I love the Mafate speed 4 cushion. But they have been discontinued so I’m searching for its replacement. So far these are the closest I’ve found so far:) I would recommend them for anything up to a 50k ultra. Maybe not much more than that though.
I have tried quite a few trail runners over the last 10 years - logging well over 10k miles over that time - using trail runners for backpacking, thru hiking the Appalachian trail, trail races or casual trail runs on the weekends - this shoe is defiantly one of the best I have used - the construction is light, yet durable. My favorite aspect is the wider shape these have they are comfortable to handle all day use. The grip is top tier with complete confidence with each stride making these great in all conditions. Also, its a plus these look cool.
First, the shoes look great! However, the shoes are not as comfortable as other brands I usually wear on trail runs and hiking. My pinky-toe on both feet noticeably rub and feels slightly cramped. The rest of my toes are fine. I wore the shoes all day inside my house and felt they didn’t have any cushion leaving my feet sore and tired. Like walking barefoot. Despite my disappointment these shoes are not as comfortable as I had hoped, I’ll try them one more time before deciding if I’ll keep them or not because I want to keep them. We’ll see.
I ran in the last version of the Agravic Speed Trail, and it was light, and fast but I couldn't find a good fit between an 8.5 and 9 men's. The sizing was just weird. I knew the Agravic TT was coming out in February so I waited and I am really happy that I did! The shoe was reported to be more stable and I would agree. The midsole has a wider profile around the mid foot and the heal than the Speed Trail. The Continental rubber is very grippy! The fit is much improved, although I still think it is a tad wide in the toe box. I also wish the tongue was a little bit longer because I get some lace bite around the front of the ankle and the heel still feels like I am not entirely locked down. It's a bit disappointing for a shoe that is this expensive. I don't run a lot on trails but when I do, it's pretty rocky and technical. Hopefully this review can help someone. I am not sure I would purchase another pair.
I did deep research on trail shoes and finally made my choice. I couldn’t be more happy with the Agravic Terrex TT Trail shoes. Besides their ability to soar on the trails, the shoes look seriously fantastic.
I would’ve loved this shoe had it been a little wider. My left foot fit like a glove but my right foot was so uncomfortable I could bear to tie the laces. Other than the fit issue, the shoe has great materials and the quality looks like it would hold up for more than 500 miles!
very comfortable amazing shoes for running lover's
Bought these shoes for 5k OCR. They came in a week beforehand, didn't get much break in, but they worked great. Places people were struggling with traction I flew past. PR on the course.
