Just when you thought they couldn’t get any better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was impressed with these didn’t think they could get any better than the original trainer, got to try them out at the Kendal mountain festival in all the rain and mud and did not disappoint on assents or descents. Just as comfortable and like the original have had no blistering or rubbing issues as I’ve got wide feet.

Yes , I recommend this product
Size: UK11 - Fit TTS Was not sure if to get these or wait until the TT version came out in February- but decided to go for it. Good choice, the shoes look and fit better than V1 - they are a bit softer under foot, notably on roads etc where I thought the V1 was a bit harsh. Fit is really good and comfy enough and runs well. No issues as of yet in relation to stability, but I also never had any issues with version 1. There is a 10g weight increase to the V1 but obviously this is nothing unless you are a pro athlete. OK at all paces and walks. The tongue is a little longer and enabled a more comfy runners knot without getting any lace bite. Water dissipates better than V1 as felt that held water a bit - no issues noted yet with V2. One thing which would have been nice would be to a built in gaiter sock to avoid any debris (not had anything enter yet but had quite a bit with V1). If not on the sapper ultra version then on the TT or Agravic 4 Overall for me an improvement to the originals and look even better. For info am 6’2” and weigh 96kg

I loved the ASU 1 an the ASU 2 is even better. It’s super comfortable and encourages a good mid/forefoot technique helping me run better. I run a lot of road to trail and it plays beautifully across surfaces too. Highly recommended.
