New cut, and good material

Obviously, it is baggier than the previous version once I put it on my body. I just got no idea of the designer, why change this tshirt in continuous three years. I bought cormac in the past three years. Everything is changing, the cut, the material and the UPF capability. My body shape is just good in size M for the past cormac. Now the new cormac is longer in length and even baggier. So I need to find a tailor to cut the length to make it fit. The only good news is the new material feels good than ever. The texture is not bad. My recommendation is you better try it before you buy.

Hi Sean, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for being a longtime Cormac user. We understand how disappointing it can be when a piece you’ve relied on for years changes. We hear your comments around the updated fit being looser compared to past versions, as well as your concerns about the changes made over the last few seasons. Needing to visit a tailor to achieve the right fit is certainly not the experience we aim for or anything we recommend, and we appreciate you calling that out. At the same time, we’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying the new fabric and that the hand feel and texture stand out positively for you. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll be passing your comments along to our design and product teams as they continue to refine the Cormac line. Hearing from customers who’ve worn the product across multiple generations helps us better understand how updates are landing in real‑world use. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and helping us improve.

new Cormac Rocks!

I have 5 cormacs in total. 3 from 2024-2025 2 from this years release with the new fabric. I can say the new fabric here is so much softer and more breathable. However, it’s roomeier (bigger in medium) but it allows for more air flow and I don’t mind. The Phasic material was nice but held onto moisture for a while. The new Solotex does dry up quicker. Buuut, it lost its upf spf rating?? The last phasic was upf50 rated. These aren’t?

Prefer the previous season

I purchased two Cormac short-sleeve shirts from the previous season, and they are in constant rotation. The 2026 revised version is, for me at least, much more flow-y and much less fitted. The t-shirt is objectively longer than the previous season; there is more fabric. Overall, I feel the shirt is less appropriate for technical/sporting pursuits, and more akin to a casual tshirt. I far prefer the earlier version.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your review of the Cormac Crew Neck Shirt SS. We’re glad to hear the previous season’s Cormac made it into your regular rotation. However, we’re sorry to hear that this season’s update didn’t meet the same expectations, especially in terms of fit and overall feel. We understand how disappointing it can be when a favourite style changes in a way that doesn’t work for you. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ve shared it with our design team to help inform future products. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review.

Better fit and fabric

Revised Cormac for 2026 has an updated fit and fabric. Both are positive changes in my opinion. The neck/collar opening is slightly smaller on this version compared to the last which was too large. There is an extra few centimeters of fabric in the body length and sleeves. Fit seems more flowy but less boxy compared to the last version. I don’t see a SPF rating anymore which could be the only negative change.

Why did you ruin the best shirt?

Last years version of this shirt was my favourite tech tshirt I’ve ever worn (and I’m picky!). They made the fit baggier, dropped the spf in the entire line, and the material doesn’t feel as nice on skin wearing it. This update ruined all of my favourite things I loved about this shirt, so disappointing. The Cormac line is a staple across your summer lineup, why would you make such drastic changes?

Hi there, thank you for providing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the current version of the Cormac Crew Neck Shirt SS did not meet your expectations, especially since the previous version was a favourite of yours. While this updated design has not been tested or certified to meet UPF standards, the Cormac line is built for hot conditions, and the Solatex material provides airflow that helps keep you cool through your day. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we will be sure to share your feedback with our team as they continue to evolve the line.

My go-to t-shirt for high-output activities

I’ve been using the Cormacs for a few years now, and the updated material is a noticeable improvement. It’s softer and has more stretch, while still feeling lightweight and breathable. The length has changed slightly compared to the previous version—it feels a bit longer—but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, it’s a solid update that builds nicely on an already reliable piece.

New style doesn't fit me

I've purchased many of the older Cormac shirts. I love the breathability and the old style fit me perfectly. But they've changed the fit with new style, it is a few inches longer and wider around the waist. Don't fit me nearly as well as the old style. Returning it.

Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the updated Cormac Crew Neck Shirt SS. We’re glad to hear the breathability of the previous versions worked well for you, and we understand how disappointing it can be when a trusted fit no longer feels the same. It sounds like the new version didn’t match the length and waist fit you preferred in the older style, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Feedback like yours is incredibly valuable and will be shared with our product team as we continue to evaluate sizing and design updates. Thank you again for being a long‑time supporter of the Cormac.

Simple and Essential

Simple piece, but it hits. Breathes like it's barely there, dries fast, and doesn't turn funky after days of movement. I've worn the same one through a week of backcountry trips and it's still showing up every trip. For a t-shirt, it does a lot of work.

Great shirt

A really great T-shirt style shirt. Comfortable, breathable, wash and wear, light weight. Excellent for travel and everyday wear. I have several Cormac Crew shirts and live in them.

Finally. The best shirt is back.

As an avid purchaser of this shirt for a decade. This is a welcome revision. Great job. Thanks for bringing back black. The collar detail is a nice touch.
