prAna  La Jolla Board Shorts - Women's

Absolutely HUGE!!!! These are size XS - photos of how huge they are around the waist/hips, along with a size XS Tropic Kiss Hipster bottom. I'm a 25 waist, size 0 in all Prana, and these fit like a size M. Maybe i just received a lemon, but I am so disappointed. Since Fall25, seems all Prana bottoms have gone the way of vanity sizing.

I love these board shorts! They look good and feel good on. This is the first time I have board shorts that have the same print as my swimsuit. Others clearly love them too, since the M and L were sold out when I went back for more colors. I really like the 3 inch length. The sizing worked well for me—I can typically wear a M or L and they both fit. I have wider hips and a slimmer waist, so the M fit best in the waist and the L fit best around the hips. If you're worried the size will run large, the fabric has some stretch for sizing down. If you're more concerned they'll be too small, the draw string will keep them secure for sizing up.

I haven't worn these out yet, but I am excited to paddleboard in them or use them when at the beach/pool. I think I can also teach outdoor yoga in them- a little cheeky on the forward folds, but not too revealing. I am usually a M or L in prana. My waist is 28 inches but hips are 40-42 inches depending on the day. I went with a medium in these and it's a perfect fit. They sit just right on the mid hip, and I suspect they will loosen up when wet so the lace tie at the waist can be used to adjust.

I’m so disappointed!!! These are such cute shorts but run very big! And now that I have the matching top and bottom swimsuit plus the l/s cover up I’m going to have to return all of it because they are out of stock of the shorts in a smaller size. I’m so bummed. I thought I had finally found a swimsuit with a matching cover-up and board shorts.

Never even got to wear these. Washed them one time and somehow whatever is in the seam on the butt got turned and now it has a big permanent wrinkle across my butt. Be warned - don’t remove the fabric tag before washing in case this happens to you. First time buying this brand. Never again.

LOVE!! They run a little big. I am about a size 2, and ordered the XS and they are a little roomy for sure. It might ultimately drive me crazy not to have a pocket to put my phone in, but they are so adorable and comfy that I'm overlooking that...

I ordered a small and medium boardshort thinking the small could be too small but they actually run a little large in my opinion. If you are really a petite person, I recommend you size down.

Oddly large for prAna; these shorts (ordered a M, am usually S/M) were about 2 sizes too large. I'm 5'3" 130 lbs, athletic build. I'm exchanging for an XS and hope it will fit better.

I like this year’s Prana board short. Style and fit are great. I did order the 3” and the 5”, I might like the 3” better, maybe. I’m 5’4 125lbs and the small fits perfectly.

Love these board shorts, great length and good sizing. They’re my go to now!
