Versatile summer pants
These are now my go to summer pants for daily dog walks, grocery shopping, and running errands. I liked the sale price enough to buy a pair in each of the three colors. I wear the dark green for grubby dog walks, the blue for shopping, and I'm saving the Cinder color to dress up with nicer shirts and shoes. It's a hard color to describe, but I think it's pretty for a neutral. Two things to know before you buy. I bought my normal size 10 (5' 8" 160 lbs). They go on a little tight but they immediately stretch out as you wear them. So plan on adding a belt if you don't want to end up with low-rise pants. I like a looser fit so not a problem for me. And I took one star off for the vertical decorative stitching down the legs. It looks nice, but it's really scratchy and uncomfortable against my skin. I won't be wearing these pants on any long drives because they feel so rough against my knees and the backs of my legs while seated.

I bought these pants because they are organic cotton. Unfortunately they have 2%elastine or spandex. I wish it were 100% organic otton. They are also very lightweight for warm weather days and are roll up with tabs. These pants are comfortable in hot weather as it is thinner cotton tnan jean fabric. I like the pockets, 2 in front and 2 in back. I do not care for the 3 rows of decorative stitching going down the front of each leg. This make it annoying rubbing the knee when hiking. They fit me well. I'm 5 foot 2.5 inches so they are not short. I got the size 8.
