Saves me from face planting in mud & other stuff
I bought these and have worn them to our severely muddy dog park, these have helped when bigger dogs decide to lean their 160lbs into you in the mud so you don't fall flat on your back or on your face. Well worth your money if you're trampling around in tons of mud and muck for hours like I do. One issue I did have is I have other boots from here and these were a little bit tighter than those boot due to how much firmer the outside is, so be aware of that.
Longtime customer -- disappointed and insulted
I wore the original BOGS classic women's boots for 12 years. These boots are still called "classic", but they are very different and inferior to the original -- and I find it insulting that BOGS continues to offer the men's original classic while only discontinuing the women's. They claim the addition of handle holes to be helpful -- but I never carry my boots more than a few feet, and all these handle holes do is allow hay and shavings to drop inside if I wear my jeans inside the boots while working in my barn. I tried wearing overalls outside the boots, but they are also slightly wider than the original classic, so my overalls don't fit outside either. Meanwhile the men's classic are wider than the original women's classic, so those won't work for me either. I totally wasted my money on this product. Don't waste yours.
Stiff, poor fit
I bought these in a size larger than usual to make sure they'd be plenty roomy for extra socks. After one wearing, they had chafed the top of my instep so badly that I couldn't imagine wearing them again. The front of the boot also presses on the shin with every step. I bought them for the seamless construction, since my last pair of Muck boots eventually gave out where the sole is attached to the uppers, but I'll be donating these to Goodwill. Very disappointing.
Great boots!
I work as a dairy herdswoman and am wearing my boots everyday. I’ve tried every brand of work boot and every single one breaks/starts leaking by 3-6 months. My Bogs have lasted more than a year (except when a cow stepped in just the right place). They keep my feet dry, fit well, and are a lot more slippery resistant (at least to me) than others I’ve had. I will definitely be sticking with bogs over others.
Not my favourite…
I’m outside a few hours everyday. I heard good things about Bogs and I needed a new pair of winter boots so I bought a pair during a Black Friday sale. I’m disappointed in a couple things.. 1. The calves are very wide. I subconsciously have to scrunch my toes while I walk just to keep them on. 2. They aren’t as warm as my old OMNI heat Columbia winter boots. I wouldn’t recommend…
My favorite boots
I’m replacing 3 year old Bogs boots that I’ve worn every day with these, because I got a crack in my other boots. They’ve made some improvements in this model in the last 3 years! There’s a “kick off” knob on the back of the heal, and there seems to be other changes to construction. I wear these year round, even in the coldest Minnesota weather.
Best boots. EVER.
These are the best yard work/ barn boots I’ve ever worn. Absolutely LOVE them. Comfortable, sturdy, great support, easy on and off.. the tread is sturdy and provides great non slip traction (though collects a bit of mud) My only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner!
Easy to take off
I ordered these to replace an old pair and absolutely love that they have a nub on the heel so that I can take them off easily. They have kept my feet warm and dry in Northern Michigan weather.
Tight for high arches
I bought a whole size bigger than my normal size and they are still tight over my arches while pulling them on. Otherwise I like these boots. The previous style 2 years ago fit better.
😬
They rub my shin so I have sores on both legs- these boots were replacement of the heels wearing out in my other boots, I’m not sure if bogs are my boot anymore:(
