Fjallraven  Skule 24 Pack

I really like the Skule backpack line. I had been waiting for a size between the 20L and 28L models because the 20L felt a bit too small if you're carrying a large laptop, while the 28L is a little too big for everyday use. The new 24L model seemed like the perfect middle ground. However, I don’t understand why Fjällräven changed the design compared to the 20L and 28L versions. The 24L has a much simpler design and is missing several features that, in my opinion, are essential, especially the front pocket, which is incredibly useful whenever you travel with the bag. I hope Fjällräven brings those features back in next season's release.

I really expected it to come with the front pocket and I’m really upset that it doesn’t. I understand that it’s my fault for not reading properly, but with the 20L and 28L being completely the same with just the difference in sizing, I would expect the 24L to be the same. The size is perfect! It’s just a bummer how it isn’t like the other two. Plus with the pricing, I really did expect it to come with that extra front pocket. I even had trouble choosing between the 20L and 28L since one is too small, and one is too big, so I went with the 24L for the perfect size, just to be disappointed.

This bag is the perfect in-between if you’ve ever felt like the 28 was too big and the 20 was too small (same here). I wanted something for everyday work use, so I grabbed the 24 and I’m really glad I did. It’s got a padded laptop sleeve in the back, a zip pocket inside, plus an outer zip pocket that’s perfect for keys and sunglasses. There’s also plenty of space inside without it feeling bulky. If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!

28L is too big, 20L is too small, 24L is just the right size, but the inner pocket design isn't as good as those two. I had to order the High Coast Backpack 24.
