I’ve been using the Granville 25 as a commuter bag and overall I really like it. The main compartment is large enough to easily fit my 16" laptop, 1.5L water bottle, chargers, gym clothes, and gym shoes. The waterproof construction is also great for commuting in the rain. There’s a small mesh pocket, a small waterproof internal pocket, and a small exterior waterproof pocket, but none are particularly large. The locking drawstring for the main opening is a nice feature and does a good job keeping everything secure and protected from the weather. The flap clip is a bit finicky and sometimes comes undone on its own. It’s comfortable enough with a lighter load, but once the bag gets heavier, the chest strap causes the shoulder straps to rotate and dig into my shoulders. Overall, it’s a great everyday commuter bag if you want a large main compartment and excellent weather protection. If you carry heavier loads or prefer lots of organization, there are probably better options.
I recently bought the Arc'teryx Granville 25 Backpack, it is less than 2 months old, and I have used it only a few times. In the past week, I have noticed seam unravelling. I am very disappointed.
Clearly this Everyday backpack is short in pockets and zippers. Quality great but not the best solution for a working everyday backpack. 1 folder for PC and another for papers which is so tight that almost impossible to fit anything thicker than 3 pages. Also closing and opening too complex. Arcteryx deserves a much better design. Value for money before was great, now you are decreasing quality and your design starts to be boring. I´ve bought more than 15 ski jackets and pants last years!!
I love this product. I love the functionality, the aesthetic, the little marks showing it has been worn and used. I do not care about my items looking perfectly clean. I think the marks on my black bag show character, which is in tune to my personality, and it's actually a bonus to this item. It's comfortable to wear and looks professional, which is perfect for my profession. No regrets with this purchase.
Love everything but the straps. They’re too thin and feel cheap in comparison to how great the rest of the backpack looks and feels.
I love the way it fits some comfortably it feels like a hug and the design is very cool only some might get love it sm.
