Patagonia  Capilene Cool Trail Shirt - Women's

I purchased several Capilene Cool Trail shirts a few years back and while I liked them just fine, the neckline was a bit too loose and low for my taste (I'm a small busted gal and it just flops around on me). I didn't care for the material the last few go-arounds but felt the current one in the store recently so I decided to go for it. The black is great. It's not see though but it is very light and soft. Breathable. The cut works well for me. I purchased a Small (I am a 33A bust, 26.5-27" waist, 36.5 hips, average shoulder width I'd say). Washed it once and it held up well on delicate cycle. Air dry. It doesn't show sweat too much when I'm hiking or working out. The lighter colors might show it more.

I love everything about this shirt! The material is comfortable and soft, handles sweat well, and doesn’t hold in the stink. It dries quickly after a quick sink wash. Great as an undershirt, hiking shirt on its own, and shirt for around town without looking like a hiking shirt. Perfection!

Loose, drapey, cool and comfortable but lacking shape, disappointingly baggy

They changed the design of this shirt. It used to have a lovely scooped hem and a lower neckline. They took both away, leaving a shirt that is essentially now a mens design with womens sizing. It is now very unflattering. If I wanted a mens tee, I would purchase one in a smaller size.

They seem to have changed the pattern. I have multiples of this "style" of shirt, but this one does not fit the same way as the other. The armscye cut is wrong and the neck is more tightly fit than the others. Will be returning.

This top is light weight, but not shear. It fits well, neither baggy nor restrictive. A good length, not too short, even after washing. So comfortable to wear both while hiking or everyday warm weather wear. Works well as an underlayer too. I can put under a flannel on cool mornings, and use alone when the day warms up. My skin is a bit sensitive and this shirt is not scratchy or rough, I want one in every color. Perfect warm weather outdoor shirt for whatever you want to do in your day.

Nice comfortable shirt. Easy to move around in and lays nicely.

I like this shirt for summer hiking. It is lightweight and feels cool when I am wearing it. It doesn’t hold odors if worn a few days in a row on a hiking trip. The black is not a true black but more of a dark gray. It runs generously

This shirt is very soft, breaths well, and has a flattering cut. I wish it came in more colors!!
