I think this is the perfect hat. It's super packable and on my trip to Africa I put it in my backpack and it came out of the backpack looking perfect - wasn't damaged at all from being packed away. It has a really nice deep fit which I really appreciate because I have a larger head and it doesn't feel like it's on top of my head it feels like my head is inside of the hat. I hope you will make more colors in this hat. It's perfect

I just happened to see this on the wall at the Columbia store. I was pretty sure I was going to buy it at that moment. A minute or two with it made that a certainty. Fit is on point. I have a big head and like it generous. A wind kicked up today and I slid the snapback over two notches, normally a ridiculous adjustment for me. It was perfect. And now the hat couldn’t blow off my head. Pretty sure that you will be able to make this thing as snug or as loose as you need. I doubt anybody will have a problem on that score. Helping the moisture management is about as good an interior headband as I have had in a hat. Definitely the best I’ve had in a ballcap 🧢 format like this. I chose black. In summer, that’s not the best color choice. For this hat, it doesn’t matter. Moisture management more than cancels out any warming effect from heat absorption. As somebody who has wounded himself more than once clapping something like a helmet down a little bit too hard on that annoying button in the center of most caps, or giving himself a little noggin burn after hours in a hot car throwing one of those buttons on top of his bald spot (exposed metal? On the inside? Why, people?): this doesn’t have that. This doesn’t need it. I have too many hats. But I really try to wear all of them. This one is going to make that considerably harder. Because I’m going to be reaching for it a lot. What’s going to make things even more difficult is that those light colors are the bomb. I’m going to need at least one of those too. So, probably, are you. Just buy two. Is that price expensive? Not if you’ve worn one it isn’t. Bird quality strikes again.

For starters I’m bald and shave my head often. So I feel like I’m constantly looking for the right hats. I’ve had this for 24 hours and truly find it to be thee most comfortable hat I’ve tried and checks so many boxes. It seems fairly breathable but haven’t gotten to use it actively yet. It has such a comfortable band. Again, for a bald guy it’s so ideal. It’s super soft. I’m sure it packs well. I’m 6 feet tall with a fairly normal to slightly large head and small/medium is perfect whereas for tried the gamma in s/m and it was laughably small. I hope they use these materials more in other hats because it’s just that comfortable.

This is one of the lightest, most comfortable, and most stylish caps I have. It’s a sleeper favorite for summer because it wicks so well; I have it in black, and the moisture transfer more than balances out the heat absorption. It is probably as cool as any trucker hat I have; given the obvious ventilation advantage a trucker starts with, that is saying something. I have a Bird Word Trucker that I have probably owned at least two or three years longer than this. I may already have worn this one more.

Early impressions are fantastic. As someone with a larger head, finding hats that actually fit well is a challenge. This one nails it. The fit is excellent—comfortable, secure, and sits properly without feeling shallow or tight. The material feels premium, and the construction is top notch. Even the logo stitching is clean and precise. Zero complaints so far. This is easily one of the best lightweight hats I’ve come across. I picked it up in both black and forage, and I’m already considering the moondrop colour. The black with gold is stealthy with just the right amount of contrast, while the forage is earthy, minimal, and easy to wear. Honestly, no cons at this point. This is the hat I’ve been searching for. Multiple compliments within the first week of wear. S-tier hat.

Ich habe schon viele verschiedene Arten von Caps ausprobiert, auch mit Dry-Technologie. Aber diese Cap ist wirklich die bequemste, die ich bisher hatte. Sie stört überhaupt nicht, drückt nicht, sitzt sehr gut auf dem Kopf und sieht dazu noch richtig gut aus. Ich bin wirklich begeistert von der Cap! Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, dass ich sonst immer andere Arten von Caps getragen habe, aber diese hier hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Glückwunsch zu diesem tollen Produkt!

Incredibly comfortable, breathable and perfect fitting hat for everything from city trails to days out on the water and everything in between. If you’re like me and you’re on the perennial search for a hat to fit your oversized head then yes, you’ve finally found it. My head circumference is 62 cm and this fits with room to spare. I was initially a little hesitant with the unstructured nature of the hat, but that proved to be unwarranted. In fact, I’d argue it adds to the appearance and overall look. The mesh lined band adds moisture wicking durability. And perhaps the best part? The dead bird is embroidered; no logo that’s gonna start peeling away after high output activities. Normally I’m adverse to the larger logo but in this case, I think it fits that hat very well. Excited for more colours to be added in the future! Keep it coming!

I really like this hat. I checked all 5 of Arcteryx’s offerings for the breathability line and landed on this. The brim is a nice size and structured just enough. The material is super breathable - I wear it on warmer days and my head doesn’t sweat nearly as much as traditonal hats. I actually purchased this for sunny ski touring, but now it’s become one of my go-to everyday items. I’ll probably buy a second color…

Looking for a light weight hat for sun protection and so comfortable that it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing it. Perfect summer hat the only reason for the four stars is I wish there was vent holes in the front and back for airflow. Options for a full back so there’s no Half moon sunburn on my bald head would also be a plus

Don’t revise this product it is literally perfect and I need like 2 more hats in green and purple so please do not “revise” them and mess up this design it it literally perfect. The hat is so light too I forget I have it on at times.
