Great projector for outdoor movie nights!
We bought this to take in our converted bus with the kids for movie nights. The AndroidTV integration is GREAT and works flawlessly. Speakers sound good. The screen calibration system has about an 80% success rate for us, sometimes it works well and sometimes it just totally misses and we have to recalibrate a few times. I am also very surprised at this price point that this comes with NO BAG. You'll want something to keep it all together. The charging status light in the back of the projector was a design miss - we have to cover it with electrical tape.
Great option for people in the go
The Mars 3 has been awesome, I work seasonally in national parks and currently don't have a TV or service at my housing and the Mars has made movie night with my roommates a super fun thing for us. The projector is super easy to setup, speakers sound great, and the picture quality is better than I was expecting. The only issue I've been having is with connection to wifi sources, on a few different wifi networks I've tried it's had a "limited connection" and I have been unable to update the projector. Factory reset did seem to fix it once, but the problem came back.
No Netflix
This would've been an almost perfect portable projector for me if it wasn't for the fact that they couldn't find a way to make sure a native version of Netflix was available on this. I know it's one streaming service out of many, but Netflix is currently the king of content. I will be returning this due to that limitation and hope they address this as I'm a fan of the hardware and setup.
So far so good
The projector is great. It is bright enough to use in a west facing room before the sun goes down. Picture quality is nice too. We plan to paint the back of our camper with outdoor projector screen paint for our own “drive-in”. I can’t give it 5 stars because battery quality is measured in years, not days, but so far so good.
Wonderful projector
Bright, easy to use, wonderful picture with deep colors and good sound, so long as you're not sitting too far from the unit. We've been using it to watch movies in the evenings and the 1000ANSI that this unit sports lets us start sooner than our older, 150 ANSI projector, letting our kids get to bed at a more reasonable hour.
Best projector I have ever purchased !
I have nothing negative to say about the MARS 3 - it checks off all the boxes- portability to move from room to outdoor a breeze ! The brightness is fantastic ! Easily connect to Bluetooth speakers 🔊 but the sound it has is already quite surprising ! Love love love my Mars 3 — nebula another successful product !
The Nebula Mars 3 is an amazing product. I purchased another brand prior to this purchase and the difference is vast. It’s is extremely convenient and quick to deploy. I doubt there is another projector out there that is even in the same category as this projector. I’d recommend it 1000000%
Overpriced and doesn’t really work
For this price point, you’d think things they market like auto pincushion, auto focus, and auto screen fit would work. Then there is the fact they say Netflix works on it… yeah, through some janky port through their app that requires like a 90’s something finger pointer.
Nebula yay! Android/Google meh
So much to like then you start to to navigate the streaming software and the ms dos like Netflix app and it’s sad to see something be so close to perfect.
One of the greatest upgrades to a camping experience
Its awesome. Would love to see the láser version of it. Little bit heavy but considering the Battery and accesories I'm pretty happy with it.
