Brooks  Glycerin 23 Road-Running Shoes - Women's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a runner finding good shoes that will protect your feet is very important. First off, they run true to size! The cushion that these shoes provide help with stability and comfort. As soon as you start running you can feel the bouncy feeling when pressing down with your toes. The cushion all around the inside made it comfortable as I ran uphill. The cushion helped my feet stay in place even as i ran through rocky terrain. There’s nothing like being able to wear comfortable shoes while running without having to worry about hurting your feet. If you’re a runner, you know exactly what that means!

From long runs and walks to all day outings, the comfort holds up consistently. They have a light, responsive feel that makes running on the paved trails that I typically run on enjoyable. They seem to absorb impact well and I have not experienced any type of fatigue even after having them on all day. Visually, I appreciate the clean, modern design these shoes have that definitely matches how the shoe performs. They are built for comfort and daily running and Brooks has not disappointed with this shoe.

I believe you have found the perfect combination of style and comfort with the Glycerin 23. I wear a size 9 and the sizing felt spot on. The material is comfortable and fits around the foot nicely. The laces are a good length. And, I love the color! I hope you keep this model around for a while and am looking forward to getting some more once there are more color options. Now, just slap a grippy sole on it and I can use it as true trail running shoe. The shoe still works great on mostly dirt trails without large elevation gains (see picture). Thanks for the great shoe! I'll definitely be stocking up on this one :)

They are comfortable and very supportive. From the moment i put them on, to long runs, they fit comfortably! They are light weight and bouncy. It feels like I’m running on a cloud! My feet feel supported and stable though out my runs. And to top it all off, they are CUTE! My pair is a beautiful pink and white color and they are so stylish and look great on! Can’t say enough great things about the glycerin 23!

Did 7 miles in them yesterday abs my feet felt great. They have plenty of room for my toes but I don’t slid around in them. I love love the color scheme.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, I’ve been enjoying the Glycerin 23. The cushioning has a great bounce to it but doesn’t feel heavy. The extra padding near the ankle makes them feel nice and secure on my foot. The toe box does feel slightly tight but not uncomfortable and I would say that they run true to size. I have no doubts that I’ll enjoy putting plenty of miles on these.

These run WAY smaller than other Brooks. Recommend sizing up a 1/2 size from your normal Brooks size. I have about 10 active pairs (not even counting all of the ones that I've retired over the years) in various lines--Glycerin, Glycerin Stealth, Ghost, Ghost Max, and Adrenaline. All of them are size 8. In this shoe's size 8, my big toe is right up against the end of the toe box. The side of my toe is also touching the side of the toe box, so I think it's both a shorter fit and a narrower toe box overall from previous models. They do feel like they'd be very comfortable if they weren't too small, though. The 8.5s are sold out right now, but looking forward to purchasing when they're back in stock.

Visually, the design feels intentional and well thought out. I love the black-and-white base paired with a bold pop of hot pink, which adds personality without being overdone. The sole offers excellent support without feeling overly tall, giving the shoe a streamlined look while still providing plenty of cushioning. Overall, the Glycerin 23 feels thoughtfully designed, enjoyable to run in, and well suited for an active lifestyle.

Easy to wear all day at work on my feet and do not come home with tired legs of feet at night. Would highly recommend. I will definitely buy again but next time will go up a half size just for a little more room at the toes
