Sturdy and versatile
I bought my Transporter 65 (color is Orange Dawn) in late 2022. As long as I don't pack anything hard or pointy at the top, it's comfortable enough to carry for a mile or so (it does start to hurt after a while, but that's why it's a transporter duffel, not a backpacking duffel). The backpack straps unclip and tuck away easily so you don't risk them getting tangled when you check the bag on an airplane. My bag got stained the first time I checked it, but that's par for the course. You could probably get away with it as a carry-on if it's not full. Most recently, I took the bag on a bus for a long weekend of Nordic skiing. I packed a bunch of clothes for 4 days (with extra layers just in case), 2 pairs of XC ski boots, snacks and accessories (hydration vest, sunglasses). I wore it on my back with a smaller backpack on my front and walked the 10 minutes to the bus stop. Overall, this bag feels very well-made. There are 2 strap-down buckles and a zip pocket inside. The zippers are very sturdy. I would not worry in the rain unless I were out for a long time. I plan to use this duffel for decades.
Cool bag. Great colour
À great bag to pack a lot of stuff inside. Can get up to 20kgs without being too awkward to carry. Better for clothes than anything very bulky. Would go well with a small rucksack.
Love this duffel. I borrowed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this duffel. I borrowed one in the spring and decided to get my own. I packed for a week (less my bike gear) for a casual summer vacation. I will briefly carry it on my back in a few weeks
Great bag for travelling- shoulder
Great bag for travelling- shoulder straps make it easy to carry. Very light and spacious - works well with packing cubes!
Osprey 65
had a Patagonia black hole previously but the Transporter beats it hands down. The material and zips are super smooth.
