This is my second pair of Antora 3's. My first pair were the Botanicals (flower print). I wore those every day of our 2 week trip through France, Germany and Switzerland in June. This past month I wore them exploring North Carolina. I can wear these shoes for 12 to 14 hours and my feet are still comfortable. I normally wear a 9 in Merrell's but after reading the reviews I purchased an 8 1/2 in both pair of Antora 3's. They both fit in length and width. I wear ankle socks from Swiftwick in the summer which makes for perfect all day wear. I love the color of my newest Antora's. The blue is a great shade that goes with everything.
Thanks for the great feedback!
I bought a few pairs of the antora 3's in different sizes and colors. I am either a 9 or 9.5 so I wanted to buy both to compare. It is so weird how the 9 in the antora 3 is the same exact size as the 9.5 in the antora 2, but yet the antora 3 size 9 are tight in the toes. the 9.5 are noticeably larger than the 9.5 of the antora 2 (added a picture for reference). Another issue I am having is the antora 3 do not have a removable insole. However, one of the colors I bought did, the other two did not. I am debating on whether to bring them to a shoe store to professionally remove or to return and hope the antora 4 makes this change.
As a hiking guide I do a lot of hiking in Griffith Park, up to the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory at least 4 times per week. I’ve had trouble with heel pain and back pain from the rugged and sometimes paved terrain . These shoes saved me! My heel pain is almost completely gone and I don’t have any pains in my back anymore.
I just received my shoes and they are super comfortable, with plenty of toe room and excellent arch support. They run big, I normally wear 81/2, sometimes 8 and I ordered 8 and they still feel a little big but in the summer they will fit me perfectly.
I received these about six weeks ago and at first, I was impressed. They looked great and felt great; however, after wearing them about six times, not even running, the left shoes' foot bed insert stopped staying in place. The heal section was cracked and warped so I had to buy new inserts bc I couldn't return them. Last week as I was lacing the left shoe up, I noticed that the elastic piece across the top of the shoe, is now unraveling and the elastic is going to break very soon. First pair of Merrells and definitely my last. Very disappointed in the quality.
I previously owned two pairs of Antora 2. SO comfortable! They were the perfect walking shoe except that they wore out in the pinkie toe area. In fact that area wore out before the soles did. The soles held up unbelievable well; better than any shoe I have ever owned. When I got the newest version, Antora 3, I was happy to see that the toe area of the shoe had been improved but noticed that the soles now looked different. Two areas of disappointment: 1) The insoles were removeable in the Antora 2, but in the Antora 3 they are glued down in the toe area. While I did manage to get them out, it tore up the original insole and left a sticky residue. What a mess. I need to be able to use my own inserts. 2) The new soles have not held up. SO disappointing. I thought I had found the perfect walking shoe but this ruined it for me. I have one pair of my Antora 2 that I still wear. They are a year old and show almost no wearing away of the sole. However my Antora 3 pair, which are not even 4 months old, are worn down in several spots. And when I say worn down, I mean WORN DOWN! The tread is almost completely gone in a few spots. So I guess the search for a long-lasting shoe begins again. Such a shame. I'd take the old Antora 2 with the toes wearing out before I would take another pair of the Antora 3 with the soles lasting 3 months at best.

I love the Antora shoe. I bought the 2 in Galactic on clearance. Best money I’ve ever spent. I just wore these shoes on the Camino Francis and my feet never felt better. I’m an avid hiker (AT 2021) and was hesitant to try this shoe, so I brought along an extra pair of my “go to shoes” in case they were needed. I never pulled the other shoes out of reserve. The Antora did wear down in areas where my foot loads but that’s to be expected especially with 700k and a pack on my back.
Thank you for the excellent feedback!
Love them! I wear a size 9 in heels and the 7.5 fit me perfectly. I usually wear an 8-8.5 in sneakers depending on the brand. I like my sneakers very snug with no wiggle room in the toe area and these were perfect.
I recently tried out the Antora 3 walking tennis shoes, and they exceeded all my expectations in terms of comfort and support.
I have two pairs of these i work at hospital in lab and Im standing all day long. Only shoes that don’t make my feet hurt
We love your awesome feedback!
