Free Fly  Shade Crossover Hoodie - Women's

I bought this hoodie to wear while bay fishing. I just wanted protection from the TX sun. What I got was an incredibly comfortable, lightweight, cute and versatile top. We were out for over eight hours and I was the only one of the group that didn’t get sunburned. I also caught some gorgeous fish (good luck shirt maybe?) I have since worn my hoodie to the gym and traveled in it as well. Expectations have been exceeded!

I’ve pursued the regular style of this sun shirt and worn it for years and was exited to give this new style a try. I love to wear them with high rise bikini bottoms at the beach or shorts throughout the summer. The fit for that reason is perfect and I can say I wore this every day on a recent trip to Yosemite and was very happy! I like the open back for airflow albeit the hood does make it tug backward and become tight on my neck at times; and I’d love thumb holes in this for hand coverage!

What a comfy sun hoodie! I love the new style with the crossover back, it’s super breezy and lightweight. Would love to see this style in more colors (lavender in particular is my favorite!) and with the thumb holes for better coverage for sun protection, but overall, it’s a great style and it’s super cute and flattering! I think it pairs really well with their skorts, great outfit for lots of outdoors activities!

Hoodie is very soft, comfortable, and love the color. However, the new style is much less functional than the elevate hoodie. The hood does not stay on if you are driving a boat or are in windy conditions and the cut out back causes the hoodie to ride up uncomfortably if you are working and moving around a lot. I would recommend this for a lazy day on the beach, not a day of fishing.

Im from Colorado, and I needed something breathable sun hoodie. I was impressed, it especially it dries quickly in Colorado that is high altitude, dry climate. I learned the difference of humidity vs dry and what sun hoodie you need to wear. This is perfect for dry and high altitude. Wish for more colors of this style, and I love this crossover hoodie. Please, more white and colors!

This brand makes the softest, best-fitting, cute sun shirts I have ever used. I now own one in each of the crossover styles (with and without hoods) and the OG sun shirt. They do show every ounce of sweat, but I find they do not hold on to smell if you air them out overnight while you are camping and they are easy to re-wear without feeling like the dirtiest of dirtbags lol. They hold up super well in the wash and I haven't had any issues with pilling. I don't looove the color selection in all of the styles (who chooses to wear white backpacking???), but the black and the teal colors are cute. Highly recommend even though they are on the pricier side. I am 5'4" with an athletic build and I wore my normal size Medium in these crossover styles so they wear a little more flowy and loose since they're nicely cropped without being too short, but I wear a small in the normal sun shirt for a little more fitted feel since they are much longer

I was looking for a soft lightweight layer for long days in the sun. However, I didn't look close enough at the photos. I don't like the design of the back of the garment, I was so excited to get it, I took off the tags before I realized that this particular design would not be my first choice. The fabric is soft and very drapey.

This was exactly what I was looking for when paddle board or hiking. Super cute, definitely helps cool you off because of the design on the back and easy air flow but I don't get sunburned or anything like that, full coverage. Many compliments on color and design (got the pink one)

Cannot say enough good things about Free Fly. This crossover hoodie is a dream. So incredibly soft and lightweight- feels like a second skin which I absolutely love being a texture sensitive person. It also keeps my temperature regulated and always feels fresh.

When traveling I mostly pack FreeFly. I want sun protection and a lightweight feel. This hoodie has it all, I LOVE the cool breeze the back has. The length is perfect. New travel staple!
