Tevas are the best.
I love my new Tevas because the are comfortable and over sized.I prefer a wider style in men’s because the women’s run to narrow for my feet. They also last a long time.

Made for someone with huge fat feet
I have narrow feet and these are made for bigfoot, they just fall off and are unwearable for me. I did get the correct size for me, but now option for width. This is what I get for not trying them on in the store! Fyi - when I get La Sportive boots and shoes, they fit perfectly to size so if you have narrow feet try them.

Comfy, solid build--just not for low-volume feet

Plush sole, well built, good traction, but definitely for a large-volume foot like other reviewers have noted. So if you're a Merrell or Keen guy, you're gonna love this. I slide around a bit much to actually wear this on wet, slippery surfaces (like all our beach rocks, tide pools, shore cliffs, etc around here), but it's fine for everyday use otherwise, so I just wear it for everything else. Wish Teva made this upper just a little slimmer. Also, for whatever weird reason, I constantly feel the imprinted logo under my heal on the footbed, which makes me always think something is stuck under my foot, but that should wear down with time. Otherwise, this sandal is a comfy, durable ride with solid traction. Looking forward to better iterations in the future.

Good Wide Basic Thong

I have very wide feet and expect to return most non-wide designated shoes (even most noted as wide). Slightly more substantial than basic flip flops with classic Teva quality and good tread grip. The thong is a bit tight but should break-in. Expensive at list price, reasonable if reduced.

strap is way too large; sole bit too spongy

If you have giant tall feet, you may like these. For me, the strap was so lose that these easily come off my feet when I start walking quickly. Not sure the super spongy sole will be good for your back, but could not wear them long enough to really tell.

Good thong

As first I thought it was flat with no support but I was wrong. These sandals have varying density foam that provides a hidden support. Didn’t expect to like them as much as I do.

Nice Sandle, straps too loose for me.

Buying from REI is really great. I really like cheap sandles they usually blow out before wearing out. Teva makes some pretty good stuff. I usually wear Chaka sandles in a size 10, they have an arch and are adjustable tops but with other brands like Columbia and these Tevas I go with an 11 or even a 12 if I can try them. I will be returning these because whele the length fits correctly the straps are too loose. With loose straps as soon as your feet get wet your foot would slip. While they may fit some folks they should be tried on before purchase.

Teva Men’s Hydratrek Flip Flops

These flip flops have become my favorite. They fit perfectly and I bought them when they were temporally 50% off- so a great value.

Too Loose

Loved the look of these but even though I went down a half size based on other reviews, they were too loose.
