Shoes seemed fine, but OnTrac delivery service was
I ordered these shoes by mistake. I thought I had ordered the non-waterproof version. When the shoes were finally delivered (more below) and I realized I ordered the wrong ones, I returned them to my local REI store. No problem with the return, but I have to tell you that the OnTrac delivery service used by REI is beyond awful. They confirmed delivery by sending me a photo of a stranger’s house which they identified as my own. Several attempts to rectify the situation were met with the same frustrating response that delivery had been made. Yes, indeed, delivery had been made - but not to my house! I was lucky to receive the shoes the next day from an honest neighbor. If I order online again from REI I will check off the “drop off at store” option. REI needs to stick with delivery by the USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other major carrier. The discount carriers are unreliable.
