When I first tried the Aero Glide 4 shoes on to go running, I immediately felt the support underneath my heels. It felt as if I was being lifted up a little on my heels. I went running a couple of times in the Salomon Aero Glide 4 shoes. It is a very comfortable shoe. The white and pink color shoe is just absolutely beautiful.
I used the shoe for about 250k. It is slightly harder foam which i like a lot as well as the support and stability. On the durability side, i am highly disappointed as after a kind of low mileage chunks of foam came off. Due to this I would not suggest this shoe.

The Aero Glide 3 was my favorite daily trainer of 2025 (indeed, my favorite of all time) and the latest update doesn't disappoint. As a devoted fan of the 3, I was pleased to learn that this would be an upper update only. The midsole foam in this shoe is simply unparalleled for daily use, and is ideal for long runs up to 20 miles and beyond. The new upper is also relatively similar to the 3, but has slightly improved lockdown and a more secure fit—without being too snug or narrow. My only complaint is the lack of creative colorways (so far). I loved my Aero Glide 3 proto pack!
I was really surprised by these, I needed some new daily runners, I've run nearly 200km in these now and I'm really impressed. The grip level these have as road shoes is awesome compared to previous shoes I've had. These are also super lightweight, I've compered them to my old road shoes Phantasm 2's and these are so much lighter, while also having a great level of cushioning and spring so they are great for runs of all length and pace. I've done recovery runs, base runs and sprint sessions in them, Perfect for training. My only concern is over durability, I think I will be lucky to get 500km out of these shoes, I would prefer to get 600+, but I suspect the main sole will wear incredibly quickly once the tougher rubber outer is worn through, I'm currently approaching the halfway mark with mine now, I do have a very specific wear pattern on my shoes though so it may just be me and my odd running gait.
The shoes are very comfortable, but there is a patch of peeling paint on the toe.
It is a great dedicated running shoe, the bouncy squishy feeling takes a little bit to get used to if you've never had shoes like this before. Make sure to use the last eyelet and a runners knot it will make it feel way more stable. It's not really noticeable while running, just walking. The only thing I am really concerned about is longevity because I can see the sole wearing out quickly (it is very thin). I switch out trainer shoes everyday because I try to do at least 10k steps a day. They are very comfortable, and really cushion the impact on your body.
This is an ideal shoe whether your after one for the long run benefiting from the comfortable ride or for the shorter daily run and want to get the most out of the Aero glides every return foam. It's the daily training shoe, providing comfort and performance in one package. The only issues were stability on tight corners probably related to the high stack height? Also the outsole, although very grippy in all surfaces it does wear quite quickly. Overall still a very good shoe though and worth trying
Excellent shoe. It has cushion (without being too soft / fluffy) and reactive to maintain a good pace !
I walk on average 15mi a week, so in 6 months time I usually have approximately 400 miles on a pair. I use these shoes exclusively for walking - nothing else. The wear on these soft runner treads are starting to fade already, I am slightly disappointed. I hope to get 8mo use out of these before I have to order another pair. I think I’ll revert back to the Grvl shoes instead. I can get approx a year’s wear out of them.
