This pack is awesome! I got it so be my catch-all, adventure pack. I ride my bike in to work so I needed something on the smaller size with a sleeve for my laptop. At the same time, I wanted to be able to take this out on day trips hiking, to the crag, to the park with my dog, to the farmer's market, etc. This pack does it all! I love all the loops and features it comes with, as well as the brain-style pack top. The mesh side sleeves for my water bottle are a huge bonus and seem to be hard to come by on most packs these days. I appreciate that you can tuck away the hip belt when you don't need it. Overall, this pack just rocks!
Great hiking back-pack! Decently waterproof, good size for a day hike allows you to bring lunch, big water bottle, jacket and an additional layer and has plenty of space left. Everything is adjustable and it creates a great fit that makes carrying heavy items (like rocks, I'm a geologist) very easy. Only disadvantage is that it has only one additional pocket on top (apart from the mesh front pocket) so all small things like keys, bandaids, lib balm, sunglasses have to go all together.
I was looking for a medium size pack for an overnight summit trip and this fits the bill. I like the decent size water bottle pockets on the side, hydration bladder support (that doubles as laptop pocket if not used) and the hideable waist straps. I also like the hidden mesh pocket for jacket/wet things. I wish there’s a soft bottle pockets on the shoulder strap. The only minor annoyance I found was the thin zipper pulls are hard to find. But I love everything else about the bag.
Great pack and 25L is an ideal size for me on dayhikes in all seasons and guiding. Well- built and can stand upright. Like the side pockets and compression that can hold different items. Waistbelt pocket fits my phone, and the pull-forward belt is preferred. Like the pack access and top pocket. Drawbacks: mesh stowable pocket needs additional attachment points; the waistbelt had about 10-12in of excess strap (size 4).
Its amazing, fits everything I need it to, the double handles are suprisingly useful, it fits nalgenes, and the stowable mesh is super handy for carrying rain jacket and gym shoes, haven't used it for hiking yet but i'm sure it'll be great
Very nice looking backpack I got for my wife as a Christmas present. It’s was on a big discount so that part was a plus in the beginning. Good features, practical and great quality materials as usual in a Mountain Hardware product.
Great pack, love the color, great size, low profile and very usable gear attachments on outside. Small wishes: the water bottle holders aren’t big enough to fit a Nalgene, and loops to tuck the extra hip belt into.
Got this pack for my girlfriend as a day pack. Very high quality that we've come to expect from MH. Fits her very well (5'9").
This was a gift for my daughter. She likes it pretty much.
