This is the perfect pack for backcountry riding or touring. As a smaller female, the S/M size fits perfect and is not too bulky. The pockets and specific sections of this pack allow for smooth transitions when splitboarding without having to dump out your entire pack. I especially like the side pockets for poles during the downhill or even with travel. The helmet sling that is fixed to a small pocket out the bottom of the bag is also a huge plus. All in all, after using this pack several times I can say the features, sizing and overall design was incredibly intentional and well thought out.
The Powabunga, is compact, versatile, multipurpose pockets and straps. Love it!
The suspension system on the heap is amazing; you don't realize how easy the pack moves with you until you take it off. Fits a whole sport rack, harness and climbing shoes. Helmet was transported on the dedicated helmet holder; I also brought a 32oz water bottle within the pack. Rope fits easily on top of the pack. On the goggles pocket I brought two radios, belay glasses, wallet, cellphone and car keys, so it's pretty big. And on the outer pocket there was also space for my rain pant and jacket
This is a Great pack! Carry’s all my Climbing gear for a day at the crags! My only gripe’s are the top access pocket to the main bag is a little narrow. And there is no ice axe tool-tie-off. This is Not a game changer! I’ve been using this pack for over a year now,I highly recommend it for All outdoor Adventures!
Splitboard user, recently went on a Mt. St. Helens summit, and this bag was very useful and easy to access pockets. Plenlty of space for day trips. I like the feature of being able to swing the bag around with only the wait belt attached to access the main compartment.
Best backpack i've owned for snow activities or otherwise! I also have a dakine heli 12L and its now completely obsolete thanks to my new Cowabunga 32.
Excellent product! Comfortable and not too bulky. Everything I need.
