It's early days yet with these boots.

It's early days yet with the boots. I just got back from a trip to Treasure Lakes in the Sierra where we hiked in for only 2.5 files on a rocky trail that had some steep up and down portions. I had previously worn the boots around the house and in the city, and they fit fine, I felt some rubbing in what are the usual spots for me with the right boot on the downhill. Long boring history about right foot/leg issues. I was carrying a relatively full pack with food for two or three days, so not an immensely heavy pack, no cross-country. I have just gone up a size in boots due to various issues including wearing prescription orthotics that replace the regular insole in a shoe or boot, Rater info: I never give 5 star reviews unless I'm totally in love with something. To get top marks the boots would have to have at least a hundred miles on them and feel fantastic, so three stars from me on a pretty new boot is a decent score.

Good overall boot

Good overall boot so far - fairly light weight, fairly sturdy, but short break-in period with no blisters. Have not yet had opportunity to see how waterproof they are.
