Awesome!

Soooo I have both jars in each size. I love them.!They were purchased for my son’s lunch. He is the kid that has to have hot lunch everyday. These jars are fantastic! The food that he leaves behind after lunch is still warm when I pick him up from school at the end of the day 3pm. Mind you his lunch is at 11 am. everyday. So if your wondering he is 9 years old and he has all yeti products backpack, Tumbler, food jars (2h and the lunch kit. All are fantastic!

Nice, but heavy and doesn't hold much.

I want to like this little guy. The price was nice, but it is very heavy and the lid is almost half of the container. It just doesn't hold much. I tried to get a small baked potato in it and had to cut some out to fit. I bought the smaller one because space is an issue in my son's backpack. I didn't realize it would weigh so much too. Overall, nice idea but we can't really use it.

Poor design

The lid design is very poor. The internal piece doesn’t stay securely attached, and once it comes loose, there’s no practical way to remove it from inside the canister. I had to pry both of mine out with a knife. Overall, I would not recommend this product, it was a frustrating experience and a waste of money.

Nicely made

It’s a perfect food jar. However, this size should also be children friendly. I couldn’t send my daughter to school with it. It’s the best alternative to keeping her lunch hot, but still be able to open it on her own and I would have to leave the instructions on it for the adults to assist.

Great, dishwasher safe, super seal

Upon receipt, the vacuum seal is no joke. Just be patient with it until you get it open. After that, it is much easier to work the vent mechanism and open and close/ place and remove the lid. Works great.

Awkward design with the two lids.

Difficult to open both lids. This is not an efficient design. Quality metal housing but doesn’t outweigh the awkward design. Not easy to use for something that should simply keep food warm until lunch.

Insulated Food Jar

Great food container. Put it in the fridge the night before and your food will stay cold all day! Easy to take and clean. Looking forward to getting the next size up.

Cool?

Cool? Took yogurt for lunch in this jar in a Yeti cooler with a Yeti ice pack and still had warm yogurt after 5 hours. Still trying but I will stick with my rambler.

Very small!

Very small. Not sure what I will transport in it, but will keep it anyway. I probably should have ordered the bigger one!
