Well made, but a strange fit. The arms are super long, way too long for a small.
Nice jacket but I prefer jackets with hand pockets. Returned the jacket.
It’s a decent jacket … However, it does come with some noticeable drawbacks. The hood only offers a single adjustment cord on the back of the head. Though this does simplify things, it doesn’t seem to be as well executed as I would have liked. When I tried adjusting it to my head, the rain visor that should stop rain from hitting my eyes, just laid down flat at my forehead, offering no real protection. Furthermore, the lower part, shielding your nose, mouth, and neck, sticks out further than the upper part, making it ideal for collecting rainwater, instead of protecting from it. Now, this might sound really bad, but to be fair, this was just my personal experience. It might be different for someone else. I tried sizes S and M, though I go with S most of the time. Both sizes would have fit me well, with M offering more space for additional layers (I even managed to fit my Expedition Down Lite Jacket size S in there, with some light compression). I’m 180 cm tall and around 75-78 kg. What I do like is the straight, casual fit. I think it looks good and works better than a tapered fit, though I also wouldn’t mind it if there was an adjustment cord to adjust the waist a little bit — for those of us who want it.. There is another adjustment cord at the bottom of the jacket — it works well. The jacket does reach below the butt, which adds additional protection. Oh, and many have complained about missing hand pockets. I somewhat agree. It would have been nice to have some. If not those, then some mesh pockets on the inside for keeping gloves warm would have been appreciated as well. I’ll be returning this Keb GTX. It’s good, but not good enough. I’m hoping for some improvements in the future.
